Thank you, its actually an exhausting song for a harmonica player, especially to learn. although best learn in short bursts of 5 mins a few times a day, as locks in the memory better than once a day for half an hour
It took you long because you explained it very well. Thanks
Hi just had someone asking me to do this song at an open mic with them, looked at a lot of covers and lessons on how to play this yours is the one that sounds right thanks for the run down .
You're very welcome, best of luck with the open mic!

You're very welcome 😎
Verry interesting 🧐Notation🎼✌️
Can this be done on a 24 cell tremolo harmonica?
I think its jim morrison playing the second harp
Can you do tougher than the rest by bruce sprinsteen.
Thank youu
Impressive ❤
I’ve never heard this version with the 2nd harp before. Great lesson, though!
Thanks :) My understanding is there were always two harps, but the second one was very low in the mix. Maybe someone else knows more about this?
@@Learntheharmonica Yes Liam…I can definitely hear it now. Like you said…just lower in the mix. I guess I had noticed it before, but was always focused on the one I would be playing. 😉
where did you get that beautiful T-shirt from?
I designed it myself. I did sell them for a few years but they're not being made anymore. Glad you like it!
Would it sound good with a C harmonica ?
You can play the tab on any key harp, you only need the "right" key to play along with the record.
what type of Hohner harmonica are you playing with?
Hohner Special 20 harmonica
I use Lee Oskar after using Hohner for years. Lee Oskar feel better for me.
They also have a ‘Natural Minor’ set of harps too, set up to play in the cross-harp position. It’s so easy it feels like I’m cheating lol as is so similar to the major harp layout
The top end notes are a bit different but doesn’t take long to memorise.
And women go weak at the knees when a man plays a tune in a minor key, as is emotional music. Often sad songs are in a minor key. As evoke sad or loving emotions
So she will think you are in touch with her soul. When really you that ‘Natural Minor’ harmonic just happened to have the minor notes in the very place we learnt to play major key songs. So when played in a minor key that harmonica does the work for you lol
Best musical invention ever!! 😂
Great lesson! Also, great shirt! Where can I get one??
I designed the t-shirt and had it made, I did sell them for a while but unfortunately they're no longer available!
Darn!@@Learntheharmonica
Good lesson. Is the t-shirt from Harp Guru?
Thanks! I designed the t-shirt myself. I used to sell them but now they're a collector's item 🤣
@@Learntheharmonica let me collect one :-)
how do you get the G note,that is the minor 3rd..On a A diatonic harmonica..one at 6:47
That's a bend. I have a lesson on bending here - ua-cam.com/video/g6mYfUFS1YA/v-deo.html
Key is key
true
I hear the -3 as a bent…?
