Hey bobby, I met you today at TFCon and I bought the combiner blanket from you. Just wanted to say, thank you for being so kind and answering all my questions. You and your wife seem like very awesome people. Keep making reviews and I'll keep watching. Have a great weekend!
This was the first TF movie that truly had no great scene to offer. TF1 - Autobots Arrival TF2- Forest Battle TF3 - Chicago Battle TF4 - Dinobot Charge TF5 - End credits
I actually made a joke after the end of AOE about Prime taking off and then realizing he isn't equipped for space travel and saying "didn't think this through now did you Prime" as he just aimlessly drifts through space. Wasn't expecting my lame joke to become canon .
I remember Nostalgia Critic eerily predicted this movie well before it actually came out. It was then that I realized that if you've seen only one Bayverse Transformers movie, you have literally seen them all because they all have the same basic structure
Fun fact: I went to see this in theaters during the second worst rain storm in my area's history. There were two other people in the theater, and finding the... "high ground" to drive on back home was not worth having sat through this absolutely atrocious movie. I nearly died for Transfivemers.
I feel like megatron has gone through the most development in this series Movie 1 and 4 just basic bad guy. Movie 2 calls prime brother when he blasted in the face(which doesn’t really mean much just pointing it out), movie 3 megatron is actually willing to call a truce, movie 5 megatron literally just wants to go home and yells at prime we were brothers once, maybe when prime was nemesis megatron hoped they could back to that time.
And with that, the Bayverse films were brought to an end - thankfully. The first time I EVER opted out of seeing a Transformers film at theaters. You were dead on with, what did you call her, Megan Fox-in-the-hound? Yeah that English accent did make her more attractive in sophisticated way LOL
No mention of the Allspark, Theses so-called Creators, and downplaying the giant transforming robots while humans get more focus. Thanks a lot Michael Bay, you just made it more confusing than ever.
Had to weigh in on this one. One. Even Anthony Hopkins admitted he didn't understand the plot of this movie. Two. I can't blame him. Six minutes in to your breakdown of it and I was completely lost.
All of bays movies have the similar or more or less the same battle shots/plot etc. The only thing I like was the transformers have a much better models than previous ones.
Ngl this movie had me soooooooo excited because when I saw the trailer when megatron grabbed prime and yelled “we were brothers once” I was hoping that megatron would be the one to snap prime out of it. This morning was so disappointed though. The Beginning I loved up until they went to Europe. I was hoping for more dinobot action but nope we got hardly anything. That was unforgivable
This movie was a giant mess, it just felt rushed and thrown together. The only thing I liked about this movie was Hot Rod's second vehicle form, that Lamborghini was a beauty.
I neither loved it or hated it. Some aspects were good, great even, but so much of the movie was a complete cluster f***. The whole junkyard scene was horrible as was the new Decepticons, by far the worst parts IMO. I did like the history tie in, i would have liked it more if this wasn't done every movie. Cogman was the best part of the movie.
I didn’t see A. Hopkins flying until now. Why isn’t he a Meme ? This was the worst movie imho. It’s sad because the 1st and 2nd (even the 3rd) were kind of an event. This one was almost made as a direct to video in the sense nobody cared. I’m not saying the first ones were good (I’m not a hater, but I’m not a lover neither). I agree that the plot in these movies is really messed up. I would say that these movies will be relevant again when they are made seriously. Bumblebee almost was that movie, but by hearing Lorenzo Bonaventura (producer) I think he doesn’t get it... he tries, but he still doesn’t understand why some people said that BB was the most close to the old cartoon... not only the aesthetics but also the tone. Anyway... that’s just me... an old frustrated Tf fan 😁
Nice. I think TLK is unfairly criticised by we fans. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece but it is so often called 'worst film ever' or 'worst of the series'. I'd put it second best after III. The criticisms are often false - most often that the plot 'doesn't make sense'. Following the plot is a little like following a Jackie Chan fight scene - it's so fast that little details can easily be missed. The final action scene does fall guilty of losing track of where Optimus is for a large chunk of time. Otherwise, the events of the movie do progress sequentially and sensibly in terms of their causal connections. I think people describe it as 'worst' because it was a straw that broke the camel's back for them - that, after how bad most of the others were, TLK was the point when they gave up on the franchise. The main good points, for me, are: Fast, fun, plenty of banter, evolution rather than revolution in the Autobot cast and some attempt at character in the Decepticon cast, lack of crass scenes, lack of callous portrayals of loss of life, I consider Mark Wahlberg's character to be a good modern reinterpretation of Sparkplug and finally I like both Sqweeks and Cogman. Main bad points: Whilst this film hints at the possibility of good continuity and character development in the Transformers, little of this actually happens; whilst things largely make sense with effort and multiple rewatchings, this is not the sort of film that merits such care - it is a simple film that explains its events poorly to the viewer; this film is clearly the middle film of a trilogy that will likely never be completed. There was an opportunity for the franchise to finish strong with episode VI. That would have achieved two things: it could have restored some credibility with a strong chapter _and_ that it would actually have properly finished leaving way for a proper reboot.
X-transbots Megan Fox is just perfect, love it. Such a mad film. Have to be honest and say I liked the suicide squad style intro of the cons, I feel like I need it with bayverse movies.
I can’t be the only one who loved this movie, and honestly find 4 and 5 the best ones. It takes 5 seconds of this movie for you to get your expectations straight for what you are about to see. This is the 5th time, “Bayverse, Transformers.” If you didn’t like them by now, then you won’t; ever. “Bayverse, Transformers.” A billions of dollars combination of words, where you know EXACTLY what you are going to get. At this point reviewing these movies is like reviewing coke a cola in a different can. It’s the same spectacular visual feast, action-space-robot-opera, that is as consistent in its storytelling, as the G1 cartoon. Ya, go back and watch it... I love it; but it’s a mess. G1 and Bayverse define the spectrum of Transformers; remember that. They will never push visual boundaries more that mikey bay did, and he is awesome for creating something completely different from our expectations, defining the range the medium of these stories can take. They worked. Enough to make 5 OF THEM. Everything Transformers we get from now on will fall somewhere between nostalgia and sci - fi bananas. Michael Bay is a genius, he made 5 Incredible Transformers Movies that this 43 year old G1 lover loved, and he has influenced and inspired everything Transformers forevermore. Remember, if it weren’t for what Bay did, the resurgence would not have happened. Y’all need to be kissing his undercarriage. All that said 86 is the best movie of all 7 including bumblebee.
T' vas I didn’t hate it but I feel like they could’ve done way more with the transformers if they cut back on the human characters. Dinobots were criminally underused as well as the other Decepticons.
8:19 The positive you gave of Anthony Hopkins shooting star-ing to his doom made me gut laugh so hard! XD
old school jeremy hotz . good mention !

TF1 - Autobots Arrival
TF2- Forest Battle
TF3 - Chicago Battle
TF4 - Dinobot Charge
TF5 - End credits
The only thing I liked is when Megs pinned down prime with his own sword after having one of his arms cut off.
I really like that you did the timeline.
never saw this one. wow
3/10 is generous for this movie. For me, the only redeeming factor is this was the film that made Hasbro reconsider Michael Bay.
I love your editing and rewinding the scene where Anthony Hopkins gets blown up 😊 it makes me smile 😊
Walked up to your table got nervous and slinked away 😂. Did make some great purchases thanks to your reviews though
Muh! No one likes to clean-up anyway!
Thanks for trying to make since of this thing😫

One of my problems with TF 5 was how Galvatron was suddenly Megatron with no explanation and that he also lost his cube shifting which seem.
been waiting for this!

Why is Barricade wearing brass-knuckles with words on them so dumb?

Pleasure meeting you today! Thanks for the great artwork!

Looks like you were write about the mp citybots being 40 inches.

I barely remember anything from the film. So during your recap, I was questioning myself with “that happened?...huh...oh yeah...that did happen”
No mention of the Allspark, Theses so-called Creators, and downplaying the giant transforming robots while humans get more focus. Thanks a lot Michael Bay, you just made it more confusing than ever.

Let’s get a Star Wars movie breakdown next.
I like the Bay movies, because of the visual content. And of course the hot girls throughout the movies. Storyline....not so much!
Do you sleep?
This movie was a giant mess, it just felt rushed and thrown together. The only thing I liked about this movie was Hot Rod's second vehicle form, that Lamborghini was a beauty.

Yeah this movie was garbage. Had some good ideas but all were done so badly there was never a reason to care.
Woah, did you have to sit through this a second time to make this video for us? What a sacrifice. I love the Bayverse films but 5 was a wreck.
this movie was the worst, if I could give it negative numbers it would be a high number
Lemme sum this film up for ya:
Just a big ol' shit sammich.
Beat the otter box off of prime. 🤣🤣

Movie was horrible. 2/10 for me for just a few moments. Felt like Movie Armegeddon at some times, thought Bay would of moved past that..
Ok 1/10
@@walkers198 😂😂
“It’s Rey and BB-8”. OF COURSE! How did I not see this before? Genius Bobby
I only recognized about half of what you described of the story from this movie. Michael Bay is a garbage storyteller.
Nitro Zeus....😏
Nice.

That movie sucked.... Have it and still wont watch it... Cartoon tramsformers the movie is better than this....
It all makes more sense with you breaking it down. It still makes no sense lol
The film looks good the story is complete bull it makes no sense
First
