The table sandwich reminds me of the pocket sandwich lady I experienced on a bus once. When I tell you this old lady pulled a sandwich out of her pocket, I literally mean JUST the sandwich. No foil, no ziplock bag, no cling wrap. JUST SANDWICH. She pulled fuzzies and lint off of it, and then ate it. So now me and my family randomly yell POCKET SANDWICH any time we see someone do something weird in public.
my husband has a friend who regularly has pocket hard boiled eggs at work that he takes from their cafeteria in the morning and snacks on throughout the day. just body temp eggs lmao

I'd say the "reboot" penalty is pretty fair for hard mode. It's not an instant game over, but it does seriously set you back if you already have a bunch of anomalies present.

that is actually a oversight due to how the mirrors work in such games.
possible explanations:
1. Most likely how its done in IOOD: The Mirror is a PNG, as such reducing the graphics requirement as to not have to load a reflection constantly.
He does the same with the backgrounds ( that arent part of the scene but can be viewed outside windows) if you look at 13:48
2. Reflections, especially big scenes reflecting in water, or small rooms in games where you cant see your characters reflection, are often simply accomplished by mirroring the room/scene onto the other side. The mirror is merely glass.
IF he did 2 for the game, he might have forgotten to make the mirror door react OR the room in the mirror is simply a cube with no actual models for doors etc.
I do gotta say thank you for not randomly screaming at the top of your lungs. I always pull up one of your videos when I'm going to bed and it's nice not being woken up to it

Wow, that train was the most perfect initial run-through of the cameras I've ever seen, hard to get closer to exactly 15 "minutes." Nice.
Cups should always be upside-down on saucers before usage, keeps them cleaner and free of falling crap like dust or accidental touches from servers passing by. Upside-down on counter-tops, no, I agree with that, but the cups on the cart (obviously for serving, not picking up) were on saucers and the ghost-alien-whatever was just trying to help by turning them upside-down. :)
If it sits on something for any length of time longer than about 30 seconds, it doesn’t matter. It’s got the bacteria from the counter. Lol.

At 9:22 in the video, the middle button on the panel to the right of the conductor chair is horizontal. When you return at the 9:30 mark, it's shifted to diagonal. So subtle! You can see it return to the original position at 10:57 when you fix the level anomaly.

It is surprising that the developer added more items on top of ramping it up. I was fully expecting just more incidences of anomalies and possibly a few more difficult changes in items. They definitely went a lot more into switching things up after the feedback.
you got a 2 in 1 when you reported the lever up at around 10 mins in. The switches had turned too but when you reported the lever they went back!

Once you've had a solid mouthful of dust on top of a drink as a kid because you chose the fancy cup no one uses... well, you either become an upside down mug kinda person, or you go all in and eat food off the floor.

Love your Observation Duty videos Gab! I felt bit jaded after playing the game on release (and then playing Para Eyes on Insane+++ mode), but Hard Mode looks a bit closer in difficulty to the previous Observation Duty games so I'm really looking forward to checking it out again!

My dog also has diabetes and often when she goes really low we rub honey on her gums as it’s like a fast release of sugar but I think we only do that when she scans at like 3-4 or lower I think if she goes below 10 or something we give her a treat

Omg thank you for the comment about storing cups upside down! I do the same thing. I was putting away my cups one day and didn’t understand why I was taught to place them upside down in the cupboard. For the exact “that part touches your mouth” reason! 😂

To your point about the new nose ring being surgical steel. That's a scam to make more money, there's no such thing as true surgical steel. If I recall correctly, it's a broad term that means corrosion resistant, and usually has higher levels of nickel which is what so many people are allergic to. Surgical steel doesn't have strict requirements to count as such. Implant grade is the real MVP, as its got low nickel content and the polishing process traps any trace nickel content from reaching your skin and means they're safe for prolonged use. So I'd get better jewelry if I were you, to prevent issues with the healing long term. Just a friendly FYI for your health and safety!

For these expert levels, the devs should have titled it something like Gab level. Yours (and to an extent, Markiplier's) have been the only playthroughs I've seen for these OD-like games. Indeed this whole genre has been heralded by your playthroughs. Indeed this level has not disappointed.
For me, the heralding of this genre was also the first real time I could recall the music of Karl Casey. Granted I might have become familiar with his work anyway when Neebs Gaming used the Hackers track to introduce Generation Zero. But this is really where the love of his music began for me. A playlist for my commute is already put together. And I saw a post from an old coworker friend of mine; he posted a mockup trailer for GTA6 and as soon as the trailer music played I just knew it was Karl. I had even played the Heart of Night track just last week. So of course I laid down the White Bat Audio hype. Honestly, in times when I ponder starting my own Twitch channel, I've immediately thought of having Karl's music for my Starting Soon screen. Anna Demetriou, who voiced Sophia in Plague Tale Requiem, had his music playing for awhile too.
At any rate, I've been praying for BB to remain in good health. He's truly a darling cat.

I do think hard mode should've been normal mode. I feel like the amount of stuff is about what the previous games had. This game had just empty rooms where the only anomaly was something really obvious. So im glad he added this to the game. Definitely saved it for people im sure.
This game is by far the scariest with the characters, this one or Observation Duty 4.
yeah thats been happening to me too. I think with this new hardmode the detection zone for when you report anomalies is somehow smaller and its led to me false reporting a bunch on every level

You should have your Camera on the Right Side Corner under the PAUSE button in I’m On Observation Duty 6. Because sometimes there are going to be Anomalies that are on the Lift Side Corner of the screen.

Lol, I've always been bothered by cups being right-side up. As long as the cup and storage surface is dry I'd rather have a small contact area between two dry surfaces than dust (smoke particles, skin cells, bacteria, mites, etc.) and bugs slowly accumulating on the upward-facing interior surfaces. I don't like dusty or buggy coffee.
