interesting how well mannered everyone is, not shouting over each other!
Because genx raised themselves 😂

I wonder how all of these young people turned out? I'm always left wondering about that when I see these old programmes 😊
Wow look at how intellectual the kids were back in 1981 compared to today's Gaming kids.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You’re right, far, far more polite and they actually sound intelligent and put across an educated argument.
It was 1981 when the MP George Foulkes drafted a bill which would ban Space Invaders on the grounds og it being too addictive and causing deviancy. Evidently there were plenty of "gaming kids" back then too.
I’m going to assume you’ve never listened in on any gameplay ever.
This was interesting please upload more documentaries and debates from this time
Thank you Thames tv
If that doctor is still alive I’d like to hear his cannabis opinion now.
Cannabis is still a problem regardless of whether it gets legalised or prescribed, it still effects lives negatively.. even more so the stuff these days because it's so strong
Still causes psychosis no matter if it helps physically or not
@@ruboo8053 There was a recently release federal study that said states that legalized cannabis consumption did NOT see an increase in mental illness.
@@johnphantom clearly never been to the uk then
@@ruboo8053 That is propaganda.
What doesn't kill you
Only makes you stranger.
Oh Lord, if only I knew then, what I know now.
Real talk 💯
I think it would be better if the videos had also captions to read in English
I am so happy that i don't have no addiction.....🤗
Sure.. do you eat sugar?
@@DashDrones i don' t eat much sweets i make it at home withaut sugar...or very little. 🤗🌸
@@carmencornelianastase1240 That's good, you should try cutting it out completely. If you use it at all, you're an addict. I make everything from scratch and only eat natural sugar from fruit and veg. It's tough, but so worth it.
@@DashDrones i made sweet at home withaut sugar , or little sugar ...🌸🍀
@@DashDrones life is short....don't throwit away
...go vegan & vegetarian you are english & that's Is great...🥰🍀

Addiction is not an intellectual disease…
Interviews then - “lady at the back ..?”
Interviews today - “lady at th..”
“HOW DARE YOU ASSUME MY PREFERRED PRO-NOUNS!!”
Intellectually gratifying.
Im sure that's a young Kirk Brandon in the audience
Back when the kids were cool
What’s this show called?
Ah the seed of wokness
Their “doctor” expert was kinda useless. And you saw how he pushed back when the audience gave feedback? Yeah that wouldn’t stand today, and it didn’t back then, either.
It’s really amazing to see how important the context and dynamics of discussion are, no matter the subject. I think we have a lot more contextual awareness nowadays, and awareness of biases of “experts,” media, and so on. But we’re still not coming to understanding. Any side will just fight to defend its position no matter what. I wonder when that will change?

It's changed a lot. Not one trans person in the crowd, I'd wager.
In 1986 my Dads cousin died in a park aged 14. He had been sniffing glue and it contributed to the cause of death.
I’m sorry that happened.
I am sorry to hear that. He was your Uncle
Also back in the 80s all the teenagers where on smack too
Not sure about that!
What would Sid Vicious do.........
