I pay 130. for my Diadem warrior from a rep. here in Boise. I love it. At the courts, I handle everyone else's paddles and always find myself satisfied with what I have.
I’m a “blame the wizard not the wand” guy and got the 16mm v7 Flash as my 1st “real” paddle after getting to about 3.0 with an amazon kit and realizing I’d be playing this game for awhile. With nothing to compare it to, all I can objectively say is I have no complaints and would repurchase or try the 14mm version if I broke mine. I refuse to even hold other people’s paddles because I don’t want to believe theres anything better out there that will get more money from me lol
I have to say this was the first non thermoformed paddle that I fell completely in love with. Very good paddle. I have the Vatic Pro Flash now as my main one, took a little while to get use to, but I absolutely love it now. It’s worth the upgrade over time, but the Prism Flash is an awesome affordable paddle, I’d recommend it to anyone as there first paddle hands down. Just got the Bread and Butter Loco and to me it’s in between the prism flash and the pro flash.
I have one (Prism V7 16mm)and have played with it almost daily for more than a month. Huge improvement over my previous paddle (Onix Z5). Great control and spin. Great value.
Own both - i prefer the V7 for the extra sweet spot & reach, but BOTH are FANTASTIC paddles that are SUPER fun, with WICKED SPIN, great control and POWER ON DEMAND... HANDS DOWN the best value on the market and for me, the MOST FUN paddle (I also have several Gruvn's, but not the newer MUVN (why spend the extra $$$ if I can get one of either of these sub-$100)... I concur - recommend to EVERYONE - newbies to highly experienced players... my Vatic Flash is just TOO jumpy and I frequently hit long with it....but the Prism V7 has plenty of bang, especially for the low bucks.... Plus the purple colorway is one of the nicest LOOKING paddles out there... Thanks for the coverage, guys!
I'm all in on the Prism Flash 16mm. Maybe it just coincided with an inevitable improvement of my play, but it happened when i got this paddle. Now I have that super confidence in the paddle. I look at all the new paddles coming out now and get all hyped up. But then I remember how much I love the VP 16mm Prism Flash and that's it's only $90 (with code)!!!!! And then I go no further. Except to start looking at shoes.
Great review and totally agreed with the analysis. I’m a 60+ yo beginner and I’m playing with both 6.0 DBD and prism flash looking for pricing, balance, power and control. The Prism is lacking the power and absorption of a thermal formed paddle but it has the softness and controls. So far it hold up very well and I think it’s the best paddle under $100. Also for around $150, 6.0 paddles are the best, imo.
I've got the 14mm vatic prism flash and the 14mm 6.0 DBD. Personally I slightly prefer the vatic over the DBD due to the more direct feel/feedback. The 6.0 has a more cushioned feel. The paddles play very similar to each other and I've played them both back to back many times. The flash is an unbeatable paddle for the money.
I have the V7 Prism and I love it. It just makes everything easier. I have more power when needed but somehow more control as well. Insane for the price.
I've been using the flash for a few months and I love the speed, control, and nasty spin of the paddle. My dad uses the V7 and he likes it too. Also, do you know of any pro coaches in Tampa, FL Jordan?
Thanks Guys Great Review! First Time PB Player. And you sealed my Choice, went with Pro Prism Flash. I Like to Spin the Ball in Tennis(Hope this one does that Well), Looking Forward to Having This as My First Paddle!
I just ordered 4 for our adult children. I have a Swift net which is I use for drills. Do you have a suggestion for a net for those who use it more recreationally but is also quality?
I am looking to upgrade from current PickleballCentral Rally pro2. I have been trying out wife's Padlletek Phoenix Genesis Pro and like the control & feel compared to my paddle (thinking about SLK Halo Max (control) as possibility also) Do you know how the Vatic Prism Flash would compare to Genesis Pro?
No, but the flash is a great paddle. If you want some of the best paddles, then here is our list : ua-cam.com/video/W5oBTmtZYKs/v-deo.htmlsi=12deB-Ha5kQA8Log
I have the prism flash and love it. Coming from a CRBN 2 (not thermoformed) it has a bit more power and much more spin. The grip feels a bit narrow for me, so might add an over grip. What did you guys think of the stock grip?
I've had both the vatic prism flash 16MM and 6.0 DBD 16mm. I've also had the Joola Hyperion CFS. Joola just too heavy for me. But between the DBD and the Vatic, I honestly have a hard time telling which paddle is better. They're both amazing. And that tells me that the Vatic is just amazing value.
Liked. Thanks. Anyone know how this compares to the Gearbox GX5 ($150 normally)? They are on sale now for $90 in my location - so about the same price as the Vatic Prism.... Thanks
I’ve been playing for 3 months now, and I am around the 3.5 level, And looking to buy a new paddle currently I use the Joola essentials (60$),I would like to upgrade to either the Vatican pro prism V7, Volair Forza Mach 1 or SLK halo power XL, what’s you guys recommendation?
not a fan of the flash got it played two games and returned it. Disagree with all the hype my $100 Head paddle was better! You don't need to spend $200 for a pickle ball paddle.
How much do YOU spend on your paddle?
I pay 130. for my Diadem warrior from a rep. here in Boise. I love it. At the courts, I handle everyone else's paddles and always find myself satisfied with what I have.
I spent $90 on a Vatic Pro Prism V7.
OK, now I have to update this. I bought the Six of Double Dimond and love it!!!

Awesome!
On the flip side, the more you hold and try others paddles, you realize you DO have one of if not the best paddles for YOU!

Looking to buy the pro flash or the prism flash in 16mm, which would you recommend please
Thanks

I founded that lead tape at throat and right below 3 and 9 spots helps. A lot.
Nice!

Awesome!
Power sucks on that Paddle
love the blooper start
Lol
I really want to buy the VP flash!! Thanks for doing the great review!
👍🏻👍🏻
“Brainstorm silently”. One of the best outtakes I’ve ever heard. Seriously great…
Haaaa
The V7 is incredible!
Nice.
I've been using the flash for a few months and I love the speed, control, and nasty spin of the paddle. My dad uses the V7 and he likes it too. Also, do you know of any pro coaches in Tampa, FL Jordan?
Sorry, I don’t
Thoughts on the new thermoformed neonic paddle?
I’ll have to check it out!
Same price as the prism flash. It bangs, but prism flash has more control
Thanks Guys Great Review! First Time PB Player. And you sealed my Choice, went with Pro Prism Flash. I Like to Spin the Ball in Tennis(Hope this one does that Well), Looking Forward to Having This as My First Paddle!
Awesome!
Why do you capitalize every other word?
Would really like to get one of these paddles but can’t decide if I should get the Flash 14mm or the 16mm?
If you want a little extra power, get the 14. But if you want more control, the 16. They are pretty close.
16 has plenty of power on demand, but has a controlled feel response compared to the 14mm (tried a friend's and did not like it - too hyper/jumpy)
I’ve pretty much decided on getting my first paddle in a prism flash. Do you recommend 14 or 16mm and why? Thanks!
16!
Better control!
It’s a great paddle!
I just ordered 4 for our adult children. I have a Swift net which is I use for drills. Do you have a suggestion for a net for those who use it more recreationally but is also quality?
Sorry I don’t, the one that I have is industrial.
Lol
Just saw this video. In between the Joola Hyperion and the Vatic Flash. Which do you prefer from the two?
If you want more power, Joola. More touch and feel, Flash
Hi would you recommend the pro version of the prism version
Thanks
Yes!

I like thinner grips
Does this paddle absorb the impact and help tennis elbow?
I think it’s a great paddle for players struggling with that. It’s on the softer side, which helps.
👍🏻👍🏻
Liked. Thanks. Anyone know how this compares to the Gearbox GX5 ($150 normally)? They are on sale now for $90 in my location - so about the same price as the Vatic Prism.... Thanks
Gearbox has more power, the Prism is an all around paddle, more control
Thank you.
I have the Vatic Pro Flash and love it. Just curious, where were you putting the lead. It looked it was at the top?
Stock, no lead. If I do, I add it to the bottom near the handle.
@@BrionesPickleball thanks
How does this compare with the Ronbus R1 16 which I currently play with?
It is very similar. I would say this is softer off the face and I would say that it has less power but a bigger sweet spot.
@@BrionesPickleballThank you!
I thought the edges were thermaformed though, is that correct?
Not 100% sure, check their website
Have the Flash. Amazing paddle. At
🤙🏼

Prism is best bang for your buck
Agree... if ya wanna smile a lot while playing, buy the Vatic Pro Prism V7...it'll keep you happy for a long time....
Bone?
🦴 hahaaa
Who doesn’t like to bone for cheap?
Were you using the 16 or 14mm?
16
Thoughts on 14 vs 16mm?
Compare it to the Neonic Force
Thanks
Sword and Shield J2 = $95 = Thermoformed
Get one!
Wow!
Is your Selkirk association over? Just curious.
No, Selkirk all day! We’re just reviewing other great paddles as well.
Audio somewhat echos!
I know, sorry
The shipping cost almost the same as the paddle. It's insane I need to pay nearly 50€ for an 87€ paddle. Forget it.
Where do you live ?
@@BrionesPickleball Portugal. It's actually cheaper to buy it on Amazon than ordering it directly from them. What a shame.
@joaocorreiamedia this is because Amazon has billions of dollars of infrastructure lol
@@BrionesPickleball Still makes no sense to pay 50€ of shipping for an 87€ product. Not in a billion years, sorry.
And now Kiwi Labs, Legacy, and … have all come out with their sub $100 paddles. Thankfully.
Got to try them as well
Davis Christopher Harris Maria Jackson Amy
Wt??
I like to say you get the most dinks per dollar with a Prism.
I like that!
I thought it was more “bones” per dollar 😳🤦🏾♂️🤣🤓
not a fan of the flash got it played two games and returned it. Disagree with all the hype my $100 Head paddle was better! You don't need to spend $200 for a pickle ball paddle.
The flash is under $100. Not sure what you’re talking about
I get more "bang for my bucks" using the prism V7 😊
Haha
