Cesar is a good boss but an average husband. He treats all his men fair and makes sure no one have special treatment. All are equal before his eyes. However, he need to be more firm with his marriage and stop being a Mummy’s Boy. His spouse should be his priority, not his mother or ASU. If I were him, I would not tolerate anyone including my own mother( if she is unreasonable) hitting my spouse. I would have tell my mother off even it means offending her. He spend too much time in ASU than with Yan which is part of the reason for her to get upset and breakdown in marriage. Yan was trying help the brothers get along better but she should have asked Ceasr permission to take a photo of him and Hill and not post a picture of the 2 brothers on the social media cause this could stir up conflict-in-interest amongst the ranks in the police force. Both Hill and Cesar could end up losing their jobs.
Cesar's mom even said she only allowed her son to marry Yan because she was pregnant so it means she just allow their marriage because she want to save her family image in case word got out that her son made someone pregnant without taking responsibility which he did by marrying her. In episode 5 it was revealed that Yan had a miscarriage. Since day 1 she has been pressuring Yan to improve and be a perfect daughter in law and wife to Cesar so why else do you think she's not happy with a perfect husband and a comfortable life. Being a respectful, kind and loving daughter in law is more important than anything else why does she need to improve herself as a daughter in law to fit in when her husband loves her for who she is? But apparently this is not the case in Cesar's mom eyes since her family is rich and has a "image" to maintain why should your image be important as long as your daughter in law is kind and respectful. No one is born perfect. Cesar's mom needs a reality check before asking her son to discipline his wife let alone interfere between the both of them especially since both Cesar and Yan are adults and know what to do.
