I can do no more than agree totally with everything J.K. has written. A very traditional carol enriched by such a gently imaginative arrangement. A special Christmas present!
Wow guys, that was totally amazing! Brought a tear to my eye, thank you so much for sharing this with us. I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas ♥️⛄♥️
just lovely... however... Does anyone else think some of the notes are very (very) slightly out of tune? Am I hearing things? Or perhaps I'm too used to the sound of a steinway and this yamaha just sounds wrong by comparison. Merry Christmas!
Dan Reeder Agree. There is something with this piano that doesn’t fit Silent Night. I wonder if it’s the sort of “metallic sound” (can’t describe it better) of the piano, along with the acoustics, that makes some of the notes sound slightly out of tune? I admit being more of a Steinway fan but I use the +20 years of classical training card here 🎼🤓 Yes. You are obviously hearing things! What exactly you are hearing...🤷🏼♀️😆
The actual question is: How good does it sound without 10 tons of reverb on it? No offense, but one really cannot judge how good an arrangement is when it's that processed...
Just enjoy the result of all their hard work and how beautiful it sounds, including the "reverb", that's all part of the production. That is a really unseasonal thing to write!
I agree in this case the audio is not as clear as usual. I tend to listen on my phone or in the car, neither of which is ideal! Such luck we have what we have! I remember my first AM transistor radio in 1964

Merry Christmas Joan and a Happy and healthy New Year. Scott international continues February 5th in Dresden with the Chinese New Year concert.
This has to be one on the nicest version of this carol I've ever heard. Nice job Gentlemen, a very Merry Christmas to you both.
An unusual arrangement which sums up the Scott Brothers Duo - excellence all round! Thanks gents, have a great Xmas
Beautifully expressed. I couldn't keep the tears from my eyes. Thanks, guys! Bellmore, NY USA
Tom normally plays the Secundo part. His trills are smooth as butter, even on the 3rd and 4th finger. Beautiful arrangement!
Virtuoso performance. Inspirational view of this ultimate Christmas carol.
This arrangement takes my spirit home! Jonathan and Tom thank you very much.I wish you both Merry Christmas and all the best for New Year 2020.

Qu'ajouter ?...
Very "arvo pärt" esque
The actual question is: How good does it sound without 10 tons of reverb on it?

I think it's called a 'sustaining pedal'.
