Of course. I am not that old in the game, first clutch was 14 or 15 I think. Honestly, if new people fail....that hurts me. if new people do well, they bring more new people and we all benefit. I have got five Ball python right now I have aA female pied Ball python and albino one a goat and two other male and female commen color balls the goast is a female and albino is a male and i have two colmban red tail bowa male and female and a sand bowa male and a ground bowa male and a male blue toung skink in my little collection I have going here I love my snakes because of the way thay look and the way I can leave them alone and take care of them on a daily basis and to watch them growing upAnd I like how thay eat the way thay do plus the fact that thay grown since I got them all and I feed them frozen rats to make sure that thay don't get bit by live ones and get hurt from it I watched your video on UA-cam all the time to listen to what you say about them and I have learned so much from you and I'm very happy to be able to get the info from you on this about this snakes but I just got them for pets and I plan on getting some other kinds of snakes too like the blood phthon and carpet python and I have had back years ago when we were able to have them a bermyice python female she was a big snake too but very friendly too so I know what you mean about the way thay can be and be able to read them for the way thay might get in a different mood from one day to a different day depending on how thay feel that day but I can hold my snakes with no problem with them I spent a lot of time with doing this to get them this way but I know not to do it all the time too just to get them to be cool with me I do about 15 minutes with them at different times so I don't stress them out I was thinking about breeding them but I don't know if I should being that all the stuff that going on with this matter in Florida and other states too I live in upper state NY and we are not allowed to have bermyice python or andaconda and reticulated python Rock phthon and a few other ones so I have had them in the past but I had to get rid of mine do to the band on these types of snakes and I love them all too but I have a lot of balls and thay are a very good snake to have if you find out what happened with them like not wanting to eat some time and the baby most of all do this and then ended up with dieing because the people who get them done nothing to find out what going on with them and I always give them time to get used to there new place where I am going to keep them and the first week or so thay will eat again for me but I have other ones that do this right away so I got the pied Ball python she is a very mean one who likes to try to get me all the time so I have been trying to get her com down because she is acting like she is scared of everything so she trying to bite at every thing she can get me incoulded but she is a beautiful little baby and I know that I am going to have to work with her on this so I have had her for awhile now and she still doing this just like the day I got her from the pet store and she tryed to get the lady at the pet store and then me but I got her anyway because I know she a good snake to get from watching you on UA-cam about them so I just want to say hi to you guys and let you know I am working on this one too try to get her to com down and the last time I had her out she was good till I got her back in her pen and she started biting at all the stuff in her pen the wall of it and water bowl and hide and she has been doing this since I have got her so I was wondering if you knew what going on with this matter with her she eats good but she is just a hand full to deal with she so mean

Olympus Reptiles no problem. I just recently started keeping snakes but used to breed fish. The more I learn about the breeding process I think more about trying my hand at it. I was interested in shows as I live in the Dallas, TX area and there are several shows here every year. I just went to my first show last weekend and it seems like it would be a great way to market yourself within the hobby. BTW, your videos have been a great source of information. Keep up the good work.
FINIS08 thanks man! shows are great, and I do think we will have to go to more this year and than in the past (our production is going way up every year). we have at least 8 shows a year I can get to within 2.5 hours (whicita, k.c, and Manhattan KS). also doable drive to Oklahoma shows, Nebraska, Iowa, Denver, st Louis, Tinley park (Chicago), and Minnesota. may eventually get to Texas. but going to be several years
I'm only part way through this video so you may talk about it in this video but I've been wondering about some things and was hoping you can maybe make a video on it (or answer here) At what point do you think a breeder should look at officially registering themselves as a business, creating a logo and creating a website. Also would you suggest hiring someone to make the logo/website and how much would you suggest investing into stuff like that?
Josh Knox I believe in as little registration as possible, and live in the woods and not in town. I would say it is good to do the emblem and make yourself legit early if you plan to stay with it. we honestly got the name, logo, etc prior to our first sale. I paid very little as I designed my own (I used public domain imagery, the gadsen flag). then just had to pay for business cards, t shirts, etc.

When I started out I sold my normals for 100 but they were a high gold almost like the line Brian gundy has. can't remember what he calls them. Nobody complained except for maybe a few other smaller breeders. But my normals we're much more stunning than theirs and it was a gene thing because every normal,had that nice golden shade. Even today I sell my normals for 50.00 and can't keep them around because I'm still cheaper than the pet store and my quality is better.

We do, that is why we keep the majority of our breeding plans at $400 and lower. If we tried to make only $1000 snakes, it would certainly be hard to move them all.

I would be a fool not to use that marketing. But a star, no.

ASAP thanks. Can also get most of trades other reptiles for cheap. Not doing it if there’s not profit, hopefully rarity will ensure they go to better homes. Live in center of tons of breeders, can guess where that is. Hint we have tons of invasive animals, even veiled chameleons. (Not rare) thanks in advance. Doing a favor, don’t believe this is long term business, as breeders wholesale folks are NOT doing well here. What’s a good selection of websites, I want animals to go to good homes, this isn’t a business, just helping. Once last eggs are hatched and feeding, babies gone, not breeding, all animals are going.

For numbers, yeah, clutch, baby. So 190101 is 2019, clutch 1, baby 1.
