Do yourself a favor. Get a can of “Knockout” from Chewy. Vacuum your house, wash all bedding blankets etc. and treat your house with this stuff. I tried all these “tricks” I found online and this is what the vet recommended. We got an extra can to treat the house next flea season before there’s a problem.

Thanks I'll try this, because when my family has a flea infestation my dad suggests sprinkling baby powder on the carpet, cause it suffocates the fleas to death, it works BUT then the flea eggs are left behind and are deep embedded in the carpet, and not even scrubbing, washing or vacuuming the floor would rid of them eggs👀😅 So any advice for that would be appreciated 👍
This would never be all the way effective. Most fleas don’t hatch until vibrations hit them ( a human or animal walking past for example) lol of this worked as pest control I’d be in trouble 😂
Iodized SALT will f them up... sprankle in the carpet and all over the place and they will die. My friends apartment was disgusting w fleas and he did this a few days in a row. Vaccum up the salt every couple days and repeat. Ihope that helps!
Travis remedy I'd say use about 50 to 100 foam plates. Dawn works and so does Palmolive. Put just enough soap so that turns the water a light color blue. Or green obviously if you use Palmolive

What if your things are still in the house that have fleas? What should I do? My landlord wants me to move out asap and believe me I want to move my things out too. But I’m worried they are all over my things and eggs are too. How can I ensure I don’t bring fleas with me and that they aren’t in my things???? Please someone help me! Laundromat. Wash with hot water. Use bleach when possible. Dry on hottest setting. Let cool a little and put in large sturdy black garbage bags. Close very tight. Wash all blankets and pillows too. Wash shoes too. Good 🤞 luck.
You don't need the sponge get a foam plate or a hard plastic one, (paper plates don't work obviously)😂 put some Dawn dish soap on the plate and some warm water. The dawn Spock's the fleas from jumping out in the water drowns them

For some reason the fleas are only coming out to attack when it’s real quit and I’m in bed I had a cat she got outside got fleas never noticed cleaned her fleas then I took her to my dads so she wouldn’t get outside but they bite my feet only I mean they bite other areas on my arms and tummy but omg it’s so painful 😣 I really hope this works 😢
This is a very very very very old remedy I learned it from my mother. Get some Dawn dish soap about 50 foam plates used just enough Dawn dish soap to make the color of the water blue and you're good you don't even need a sponge
One person says Joy kills immediately where Dawn takes longer. Not sure why Dawn dish soap seems to be a remedy for everything. Maybe it’s a sideline marketing thing 🤷♀️

Joy dish soap works instantly killing fleas. Dawn eventually kills the fleas by destroying their exoskeleton.
I use Joy now.

By sprinkling white salt on anything will also kill fleas quickly. With in 24-48 hours.

From what I've read, any cat-friendly shampoo with sulfates will dissolve the fleas.
