I’m a new graduate and I am SO scared of going out there. I’m an introvert too and I feel like I’ll have anxiety 😅however your video helped me see that maybe I am not alone! And that perhaps I will grow into my role instead of just automatically feeling like a “nurse” because I yet don’t. Thank you so much ❤
Really, you'll know her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, miss Catherina Alison has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.
My first experience with her gave me the assurance that has made me recommend her to my friends without fear of them failing, i got four of my friends involved with her already😭😭
Atta girl. I have been an RN for 25 years... (WHAT?) still hard to believe. I have worked in several different types of nursing... inpatient hospital, outpatient walk in clinic, school, prison, travel nursing to a jail and then a pediatric derm office, stopped traveling, another jail, I now am in ambulatory care family practice in a military clinic... I LOVE ❤️ it. You have SO MANY options, you are 100% right, be happy or try something else. Be well!
Thank you for sharing how you felt during your first year as a nurse because I’ve been working as a nurse for 5 months now and the feeling that I have right now are exactly what you had .
I’m 15 and I wanna become a nurse one day but I’m worried I don’t have the proper social skills to handle certain conversations. Yet I still want to become a nurse because I want to make a difference in peoples lives by helping them, and being someone they can trust
I'm 17 and wanted to become one too. But now I'm looking into health informatics cause it fits me better. There are many non-clinical healthcare jobs you can look into.
I am starting nursing school in January and it’s been a long time coming and I felt like why did I wait or why wasn’t I more serious about my future when I was younger 🥲 but I am here now and excited for everything to come. BUT these social media nursing post sometimes scare me but I am so happy to have came across your channel 🫶🏻 THANK YOU
Do Epic’s analyst job. I am Asia like you. After working over 20 years of back breaking and very very very stressful work. After I got certified several Epic applications. Left floor work 10 years ago. You still will involve with nursing workflows and build stuff. Pay is the same as the nurse. Very glad crossing over. Don’t get me wrong I love taking care and helping out patients. It burns me out badly 20 years ago. My turn to take care of myself. Good luck with your carrier.
I'm a student in the Faculty of Nursing in Egypt. I did not like this faculty at the beginning, but now I love it. I just want to tell you keep going because the content is beautiful.🌷
Please never stop making these kind of videos. I am also a nurse, there are times it can overwhelming and scary and sometimes i feel unappreciated but watching your videos keep me sane and motivated. thank you miki. love from brunei xoxo
nlg I'm an introvert and finally after 2 full years I am convinced I wanna be a nurse. even though people drain me and I am the shyest person on this earth 😅I admire people like you just doing it and pushing through ❣
i’m a 12yo girl and i’ve wanted to be a nurse since i was 10?? i wanted to take care of people since i was at least 3. I’m working harder in school now that i know what i wanna do and this will be motivation for what could be for me one day
It's great that you aim to do well in school!!! Keep it up. But please know that it's ok to stumble. I took the long road to nursing whereas some of my friends went into it right away. Everyone has their own path ❤ you do you
loved this video, im guessing you're a pain nurse? I work in a surgery center and I mainly do plastic surgery but occasionally I do pain. Outpatient care is so much better then inpatient!! so happy I found your channel!
I’ve been a nurse for about 2 years now and feel like I’m so burnt out from working in the hospital and I’m thinking about switching to outpatient but I’m just scared for the same reasons you are but maybe I’ll take the leap soon :)
❤ wholesome video , y’all so cute 🥰 aweee Kevin being there with you and doing all these cute meaningful things , his love language 🫶🏽🫶🏽🥹 and yessss you got this Miki !!! All going to pay off for both of you ! Love y’all 💙💜
Nice, love watching your daily life as a nurse etc. I was once like you too. Now 17years has gone by, alot of hardships, hard to even build a family. Well still loving the job and finally I have an adorable kid, enjoying your video as always, bringing a smile to my face 😊
i love your vlogs! i don’t work in healthcare but some of my recent experiences in hospitals have made want to become a nurse. i hope for everyone in healthcares sake that things get better soon❤️
Same! It's always been my dream to work in healthcare, I've been hesitant to pursue it, especially over the past few years, but I'm trying to focus on the good that will come out of it. I hope you are able to do it!
Really love your videos and content. It was very reassuring to hear your first year experience as I'm a recent new grad nurse and feel the anxiety you mentioned. I've heard it's pretty normal for the first year but eventually gets better. Any tips/suggestions you would give to your younger (1st year) self of how to make things better/easier? I feel like i have no idea what I'm doing.
Hello.. Ms miki I feels happy instead .. A realistic day as a nurse vlog the best I think .. Many memories .. On this programs .. I was studying on nurse like you but have been nursing assistant programs surely .. But I happier in this programs.. Nice too meet you .. Thanks..
I used to have dandruff too but it all went away when I started using redken color extend shampoo and conditioner. If you have dry hair, you can try the all soft one. Hope it works out for you!
I’m a new grad and already started my nurse residency last week.! I’m so anxious, nervous and excited all at the same time !👩🏽⚕️🥰 how did you feel working by yourself for the first time !?
Interesting and very entertaining but I didn't see much on the 12-hour work of a nurse but I have to respect your energy and quality-of-life you seem to have a very fulfilling and high achieving life.. congrats and wish you much success 9:25
Glad to watch that you are ok. Taking mental health or going to therapist it is help me as well. Air hugs. ❤ Xin Nen Kuai Lei. My daughter also interested in public health.😁 Even I’m not a nurse but pretty much in hospitality area where our job to give the best service and sometimes physically so tired. Keep smiling and love from Texas!!!
I've learned a little about nurses in the U.S. and Canada. Both countries have a nurse shortage. I find it interesting in the u.s. ( not sure if Canada is the same) the beginning of medical school is enough training to be a nurse, but most continue their education. So there's a terrible nurse to patient ratio which I wouldn't be surprised if it's causing people to decide not for them. Though honestly I feel like people want a job with minimal work and high pay.
I dunno i think I'm burned out because I started to cry when kevin posted an encouragement post it to you.. maybe i just wanted an encouragement post it too before I start my 12hr shift.. :') it's so frustrating in the ward it's like it's not new year, so many patients to attend to and encourage them while there's no one to encourage me. 🙈 Anyways too much drama already.. Happy New Year to both of you 💖💕
omg I almost had a heart attack, your mic is so good.. I'm in the kitchen alone with the lights off and at 2:00 I thought someone was trying to break into my apartment LMAOO
I work as a midwife in the UK, been one for 10 years and the changes I’ve seen in those 10 years are scary. Everyone is so burnt out and exhausted, I don’t think many people still enjoy their jobs. Healthcare has changed so much, I think it’s past the point of saving 😢
Neonatal Nurse in the UK here, so many of my colleagues are leaving because of job dissatisfaction 😢 it’s not the patients or necessarily the workload, it’s the culture and how we are treated by management. These are highly skilled, post-graduate trained ICU nurses. It’s a shame, real shame.
After 0.33 second I am SO agreeing with you, I'm a dietitian at the hospital looking to become a nurse, cause in here we are so looked down on us so much so that I have to ask a nurse if it's ok to give different food to different patient no offense for n urses at all, one of the Rn at my hospital is my best friend and we love criticizing our husband's together but out of that it's refocus to give a pudding to a diabetes who just had his foot amputated. I'm 40years old and sick and tired to fight with the system but completely agreeing with the dry skin at the hospital ❤❤❤❤❤
What type of nurse are you? Pls reply because I wanna become a nurse and your video makes me wanna become the type of nurse you are! Ik this was posted long ago but I ran into this video on the fyp on UA-cam and i fell in love with it.
I’m currently studying to become a Forensic Investigator (Detective), and I love it so much, but…lately I’ve been interested in healthcare, but I know how complicated it is, I feel like I could be a good fit but I’m scared of not being good enough
I have a strange question that i hope you can answer me , without getting it the wrong way. Im 52 and just passed my EKG tech certification program here in LA. im highly sensitive to medications and dont have my C19 vaccine. How can i still work in the medical field ? Also, do you think its realistic to consider RN school at my age ?
I searched "nursing day in the life" to see if this is an option I would like, then I saw "12 hour shift" on the first result. Let's just say I'm never doing nursing lmao
I'm already studying for faculty of nursing 😢 and so excited for my graduation l really would like to befriend with a girl who studying this like to me 😊from anther country I'm for Egypt which country mo Salah from this he is very famous footballer ❤and nice to watch this video and for my comment

Congratulations 🎉. I wish u the best. We are so grateful for the healthcare. I hope you eventually overcome this anxiety.
Well, I've taken the exams for the 4th time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it. 😭💔
Really, you'll know her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, miss Catherina Alison has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.

Have you had to deal with a lot of bullying during your career?
Wow. This is amazing. I will like to try this too until I find what I am really capable of.
Be happy or try something else.. that's what I tell others too
probably mostly in hospital only. but being a nurse, you can choose your environment @@maddie7618

This is my same fear, too. I hate being introverted and shy.
I'm 17 and wanted to become one too. But now I'm looking into health informatics cause it fits me better. There are many non-clinical healthcare jobs you can look into.
Honestly I feel like jobs will really push out the social in you. I am so shy but I work retail and the shyness has really been pushed out me
I love how no matter how hard and long day at work, you still are always so positive and happy!! Thank you so much, you are so inspiring xx
Yes everyday you csn get up in the morning and go to work is a great day

I'm 15 and so scared to go to college in a few years to become a nurse it looks like a stressful job but it also look so fun. 😰😂
Social media glamorizes it too much. Check r/nursing and you won't see it the same way again.
