Very nice video, thank you, very well explained! As an English teacher, if I were asked to boil down language learning to a word, it would be "paraphrasing"! In all of the skills, it is your ability to paraphrase, i.e. say the same thing using different words, which is what gets you marks. It shows fluency in the speaking, vocabulary range in the Writing, and understanding in the Reading and Listening. One other tip I would offer, specific to the Listening, is visualise! In this example, see Sally on a raft, see the smiles on her kids' faces, see them eating, see the tour guides. That's why they say a picture is worth a thousand words! Best of luck everybody in the exam!
This is a very good video, I organize the main points of the speaker. Don't just match the words with the audio, you need to understand the meaning of the audio.
I found the Business version hard enough but I have read somewhere that it adapts to your level so no wonder... I am eagerly waiting for my results and do hope that they will be up to my high expectations lol
@@yogisetiawan980 oh well not to shabby lol highest score actually but wasn't too hard because I had studied English at the university some time ago and thuss studied stuff such as English litterature etc

Hello there.. I have a question regarding the british an american english for the score. This test is cheaper than TOEFL, I want to know if there will be a problem with my score if I have the "american" accent. Does anyone know? thanks in advance!
Hi I hope you are keeping fine. Can you please let me confirm that I need some information Is Lingua Skills by Cambridge Test still acceptable in the University of Portsmouth or not ?
I'm disapointed with me. I couldn't concentrate in the long listenings. It's imposible to take notes, you only have 45 secs before the listening is played.....and you don't have control on it......Im sad...so sad

Your advise is really useful. I'm taking Linguaskill this Saturday. I feel really anxious now.
And that is very true and also not false and in the same way correct because it is not wrong...

Your score won't be negatively affected if you have a US accent.
