I appreciate the honesty of a lure manufacturer throwing other baits. I've known of other guys who treat podcasts like an infomercial. I really enjoyed this one. Tight lines gentlemen.
I just started my channel the same time i started using dsl,im catching limits & alot of times im the one catching the most,i tell everyone what im using, plum white tail, loop knot,15 lb leader works!
It's interesting that you guys brought up the idea of trout around sailcats. One spring not too long ago in South Bay (Aransas Pass) I kept running into schools of sailcats. They'd tail, stick their fins out of the water, and move around the bay making a slow moving mud boil. I started casting in to them and nearly every time I'd hook or catch a 15-16" trout. In that clear water these were easy to see from long distances so I began looking for them. They certainly weren't everywhere but about once an hour while casting over potholes and shell I'd spot a small school of sailcats. This was probably mid-May. It was just another cool experience out on the water. You really have no idea what you're going to see out there sometimes.
That’s killer! I’ve never experienced it except under birds where sailcats will move in and mix with trout but that’s cool you could visibly see them. That’s wild
Always look forward to the videos. Great information! Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoy them

Seen trout busting ribbon fish on TodsDump limited out many trips.
Those ribbon fish get me giddy because of what’s around
