Latvia has a little bit more of a Soviet legacy and mentality to grapple with than Estonia. Also, is commuting by bicycle common? Have you tried the inter-city trains like Tallinn to Viljandi or Tallinn to Valga?
Hey! Thank you for your comment ✨ Yes delays were common especially in the winter when trams would face heavy snow. But since the frequency is good, it is barely by 5-10 mins at max. Mostly they are on time as per Google Maps, even locals rely on Google Maps for timings. Bicycle is very common in the summer season, you can also have those tiny scooters (I’ve shown them in my vlog). I tried Tallinn-Tartu train for 10eur and it was very comfortable, on time, and had beautiful views on the way. Highly suggested to commute intercity if you get a chance 🇪🇪
