I thinks we need to use synonyms more, there were 3 ‘emphasize’ in one task in different paragraphs. We can rephrase using ‘draw attention to’, ‘ highlight’ etc. Anyway thank you for your video!
Hello Mr.Michael, do you prefer using the templates you created in the previous videos for the speaking section or the templates mentioned in this video?
@@Toeflresources previous videos mostly contained firstly, secondly, for instance ,so is it better to use them or this to fetch more marks according to ets ai rater and human rater
If university has cut off of 80 and my score is 85 is it fyn or should i take it again.. anything above 85 is fine or higher the marks higher the chance to persue stem courses in us from india
Hi Micheal, I have a question. Before you mention one reason is enough, but now you elaborate with two reasons, is it required to have a high score to say two reasons? I am struggling with 24 points, I need 26.
maybe it will give u the extra 2 points if you do a bit more detailed explanations on your ONE argument, coupled with more specifications in your personal example. 'cuz usually students struggling to get above 23-24 share a common problem of not talking about enough details as they might think. Meanwhile, it is however of equal importance to get better fluency in your discourse. A 23-24 response in TOEFL may still exhibit noticeable language-related pauses that may to some degree impede the overall intelligibility of the listener.
You should remind students: Templates (any section) cannot be used while doing the actual test unless going to meorize them. See students solely relying on these templates instead of trying to understand and get familiar with the question types (all sections) and trying to improve their English skills (instead focussed on how can get a higher score). And of late using AI to spit out generated responses and saying (or writing) them word for word as their responses.
Indeed, most test takers who favor templates will try to memorize them beforehand. They'll also try to scribble a reminders of the key phrases while section instructions are being given. Yes, understanding the question types is really important. Once they've done that, many students realize that the questions themselves are designed using fairly rigid structures that rarely change. That's one reason why they favor the use of templates when answering them.
Thank you so much Michael for publishing these templates .It helped me to score 27 in Speaking.
Brilliant! I am proud of you! What's next?

Hi Michael, thank you so much for your video. For the question 1 template, I wonder if one or two reasons is better?
Both are equally good. Do what feels best.

That's a question that only the university can answer. Some only care that you passed the cut-off. Others value higher scores.

@@Toeflresources I am using my speaking score but I don’t use for writing section. Is it active for writing or only for speaking?
Mostly speaking, but there is a beta implementation for writing.
