This is awsome dude, I think a huge portion of your audience is here for technical stuff like this, if people want beginner level videos they go to JB anyway, so please make more like thiw
Yes post up these tests. Also see if you can get a FRM301 or 302 module from FlySky to test. That uses their lastest protocol - AFHDS -3A. That's even faster with more range..
Great work. RX latency is why I started watching in the first place (over two years ago - Oct 2017). Latency tests wanted (as I have no oscilloscope): - Switch to signal, D8, ACCST, ch8, internal module - Switch to signal, D16, ACCST, ch8 (only 8ch sent), internal module - Switch to signal, D16, ACCST, ch9, internal module - Switch to signal, FPORT, ch9, internal module - Switch to signal, ACCESS, ch9, internal module - Switch to signal, iBus, ch8, internal module (FlySky TX or Nirvana) - Switch to signal, DSMX/SRXL, ch8, internal module (Spectrum TX) - Switch to signal, D8, ACCST, ch8, external module (iRange) - Switch to signal, D16, ACCST, ch8 (only 8ch sent), external module (iRange) - Switch to signal, D16, ACCST, ch9, external module (iRange) - Switch to signal, DSMX/SRXL, ch8, external module (iRange) - Switch to signal, M9, ch9, external module - Switch to signal, Crossfire (telem enabled), ch9, external module - Switch to signal, Crossfire (telem disabled), ch9, external module Unfortunately the google sheet that used to have a number of latency benchmarks ( docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gp2NqOBjCVm4uZj9lLtY2wFG3oJ0KqnMC0kVRTIHnSc/edit#gid=241169987 ) is no longer there.
Please keep going with this series! What your talking about in this video is the kind of stuff I've been looking for. You might want to name the series something exciting just to rope people in, but I think once they start to see your content then it will be well received.
hello, i have a microzone MC6C transmitterand MC6RE receiver so now i am trying to make a fpv drone so i decide to use it for HGLRC F722 flight controller so my MC6RE receiver has a M.BUS port for connect flight controller so if i use the HGLRC F722 flight controller to this receiver as S.BUS it will be work without any issues???? (please someone who else reply to this question as soon as possible)
i came from ibus ,,funny fact ive had more failsafes on frsky then i ever did on flysky...people use to take the piss out of ibus untill they found out its quicker then sbus lmao the inverted stuff wrecked my head when i started ,,one reason i went to an f7 board
Nice man!.Do you have any flysky full range rx in your store?I need some tylemetry modules for voltage and mods for my nirvana too .Hit me back if this kinda stuff is avail.Thanx agan for the good worx!
14 for ibus. C'mon DM, you know we love this nerd shit. Busy out that access vid 4 sure. Also, you get credit for a view if I download your vids to watch later with yt red?
great series keep continue... when you start test with transmitter on flysky i6x use custom firmware because stock have bug with frozen frames that could cause higher latency
Even better...test ibus with a Nirvana NV14 so all transmitters are running Opentx. Also get an FRM302 from FlySky with -3A protocol which is even faster with more range.
Hey mate great video , I'm trying to learn how to build my own FC like you did which I highly enjoyed . I'm having trouble understanding the circuit theory behind it although I have passed classes in dc circuit theory and digital systems . I will go back and rewatch those vids see if I can glean any new info on it 😊 cheers anyways for the great content.
Man I love your videos. You explain everything so well! Quick question: I'm from Argentina, and buying this stuff is pretty hard and expensive, what is a recommended kit, including de radio control? I want to buy something i won't regret. Thank you!
ibus is slight faster... but you wanna test to see the latency between the time you input somethig on the TX and the time it actually gets received....... Ok that's the end of the video thanks guys... WHAT!?
I am just raising funds for the first RC drone I built myself. However, in Poland it is damn difficult. I earn little and I have a lot of obligations, but I will not say what. Looking for someone who would help me make my dream come true?

Finally someone has shown the signals on a scope. I always wondered what the difference was between sbus and ibus. Thanks

It will be great!

Great video after quite a while. Looking forward to see those further inspection. You've done a great job!
Keep it up👍
please dig into the access/sbus, opentx "heartbeat" update and all of that in regard to latency. please, please, please!
Which small and cheap receiver would you use with the Radiomaster TX16S? I would be using them for small and cheap quadcopters? Thanks a million.

Not too late to return to the best... FlySky ftw
Im getting a qx7 just to try the radio i always hate on..lol seems fair..
This is awsome dude
Pretty amazing, Sam! Really nice!!! 😃
More videos, of course! Please! 😃
I'd love to see more please. Thanks bud. Your the best out
Video like these are required!!
I'm trying to get all the information I can so bruh keep it going
Very Interesting! I learnt something!
Is there any difference in flight range useing ibus or sbus?
Nice man!.Do you have any flysky full range rx in your store?I need some tylemetry modules for voltage and mods for my nirvana too .Hit me back if this kinda stuff is avail.Thanx agan for the good worx!
I was really into this video. Can you tell us more about your O-Scope?
Cool video, keep them coming.

Can you look at crossfire the same way or are the packets encrypted?

What sorta budget you got? Qx7 is a good buy at about £75
D8 is still here x)
ibus is slight faster... but you wanna test to see the latency between the time you input somethig on the TX and the time it actually gets received....... Ok that's the end of the video thanks guys...
WHAT!?
Very interesting!
I would love to see you testing ExpressLRS :)
Very interesting
Let's compare ibus and fport
I like Your oscilloscope videos!
Awesome! How could you analyze that?
With an oscilloscope
For me it's really interesting, even though I don't know why )
I am just raising funds for the first RC drone I built myself. However, in Poland it is damn difficult. I earn little and I have a lot of obligations, but I will not say what. Looking for someone who would help me make my dream come true?
of course.
Hey im first to comment?
