So glad someone has finally brought up Cam Johnson as a great fit on this young spurs team. As a fan who religiously watches games, I can’t tell you how much it would benefit Vic and the starters to have another knockdown shooter. I wish yall would’ve mulled over the idea of including Sharpe in the deal and what it would require to get both since our backup center rotation needs an upgrade desperately. Great episode as always!
Would be awesome if you could analyze the Aussie NBL prospects with NBA potential. Probably not terribly popular for the US fans, but us Aussies would love it!
Kyle is 100% right about my Cavs! We need to add some size in the frontcourt! Fingers crossed about the Wade injury as well! Cavs have too many 6'4/6'5 guys...lots of shooting guards and not enough BIG wings!
Let’s say Egor is a Josh Giddey clone in the NBA. Why are people saying that like it is a bad thing? Giddey is a legit (obviously flawed) NBA player who would still go in the lottery (?) in a 2021 redraft. The narrative around Egor that he is not a 2025 guy if his current play continues is wild. Case of “fool me once (Giddey), shame on you. Fool me twice (Egor), shame on me” going around scouting circles lol?
Cooper is more in the Giannis mold of defender i think. I fully expect him with his iq and instincts to be playing low man alot in the nba. Hes goung to be a power forward who can stretch the floor better than Giannis. His motor is a match though.
Utah did Phoenix a huge favor. There is no way to “honestly” spin this trade in another way. Utah could’ve used its 3 firsts in any number of ways, and to bank them all on 1 unprotected first, that the suns have full control over (with no other known consideration) was a weak move. But we shall see how it turns out 🤷🏻♂️
No, the Jazz did a very smart thing for themselves in shorting the future of the team which is relying on a guy who's 36 remaining awesome and more generally being run by a delusional psychotic. A+ trade for the Jazz.
@scottwickett1273 KD is old. The Beal contract runs out a few years before the pick conveys. But Booker is young. Put a decent group of vets around him and they don't bottom out. Pick 10 for three firsts isn't an A+ trade.
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 Pick 10 for 30 + 25 + 26 is in fact an A+ trade, and if they're at 10 there's obviously also a non-zero chance you get a top-4 pick.
1:26:35 frankly, everyone who sends Lopez out of Milwaukee have sounded/read like bad actors who don’t actually care if the Bucks gain anything from the trade…or just enjoy trade machine warcrimes…and this is coming from someone who would stand to BENEFIT from them losing him It certainly can’t be that all these folks watching him think he’s bad now…

trying to get the cavs to get a 4th big isn't the right move in my mind if any team loses one of their stars they are done in the playoffs period you can't plan for that.
Cam johnson is a 7th man at best on a good team that why no one is willing to trade for him including the spurs. Stop promoting nets players as difference makers.
I just don’t see the copper Flagg as being #1 on a team. Feels like the group tank thinking of the media is working. Same thing with scoot. Same thing with KAT trade. Really value Dante over everyone in the trade…love Sam. And still think once he is over 40, he’ll be the best in the business. Being able to see a certain amount and different players entire career is crucial with scouting.
I love Kyle on any podcast. No such things as questions, only conversations. Really unique insights.
Kyle is one of my favorite humans.
Kyle Mann X Sam is a crazy combo. I am so here for it.

You guys are loving trying to get more shooting guards to Minnesota haha… idk if that’s the positional need lol…

Betting the Suns bottom out in 2031 was a huge risk.

This song reminds me of the teams desperate for a trade and hoping for the draft lottery.

@@SutairnCam was third or fourth best player in the Finals not so long ago. Cam also has a reasonable contract if he can stay healthy.
If someone bought out Beal the Pistons should consider giving him a 14m contract. But no team is going to tie up that much cap space.
