- Today, we will be walking you through the steps to properly adjust your scope for optimal accuracy on the range or in the field.

• Burris Veracity PH
First, let's start by discussing the heads up display on the inside of your Veracity PH scope. This feature allows you to see all of your adjustments in real-time, making the sighting in process much easier and more efficient.
To begin the process, you will want to mount your scope on your rifle and make sure it is secure. Next, take your rifle to the range or a clear, open area where you can safely shoot.
Once you are at the range, set up your target at a distance of 100 yards. It's time to fire a few shots to see where they hit on the target. Use the windage and elevation turrets to make any necessary adjustments until your shots are hitting dead center on the target.
Once you have your shots hitting dead center, you are all set! Your Veracity PH rifle scope is now sighted in and zeroed, ready for use in the field or on the range. Thank you for watching and we hope this tutorial has been helpful for you. Happy shooting!
this looks so awesome im still trying to get use to scopes and bolt actions im more used to zeroing irons, red dots, and my acog on my m4
Thanks for watching 👍
I just picked one up and mounted on my Bergara Premier HMR Pro .308. Still have to zero. Thanks for making it look easy
Thanks for choosing Burris! Let us know if we can assist 👍
At the 2:20 mark of the video you are describing how to set the zero stop. You also mention if the shooter has a 20 MOA cant on their build they may come up against the zero stop. When I spoke to Burris they informed not to use any built in MOA cant. ✌
If you have a canted base or are using the Burris Signature rings to add MOA to the rifle you will simple need to switch off the Inclination Compensation in the app for the scope to work properly with the canted mounts. If you want the inclination to work properly we do not recommend using canted mounts.
So I see he loosened the top dial and passed the mechanical stop. So I was hitting the zero and still shooting high and couldn't turn it down. So do I loosen that top up and pass that stop. But if I do that will the top dial not be accurate then?
Yes, the dial will be accurate again. You will simply need to set your zero mechanically with your mentioned process. They loosen the zero stop screw again. Turn the turret to zero, tighten the set screw, then reset the zero in the BurrisConnect app.
I like the scope ! very useful technology, I bet all scope manufacturers will now do something similar ! Do you like the Benelli Lupo ? Why did you choose this Rifle to showcase your scope?
We use lot's of Benelli firearms since they're awesome, and we're proudly part of the Beretta family of companies 😁
I have one and it's great just wondering if the app will ever have a place to put in 20 or 30 moa base?
I will bring this up to the app development team. This would make sense for other products that don't have a built in inclinometer. However, we do not recommend MOA bases with our Veracity PH, or Eliminator scopes.
@@BurrisOpticsCompany Hi I bought another one and it would be nice in the app to be able to name the scopes to tell them apart 🙂 Thank you and Merry Christmas!
We agree, and have told our app development team. Hopefully, they can get that setup.
I just got mine today love Burris scopes
Awesome glad you love it.
How do you like the scope after having it for a bit?
Haven’t used mine much yet, but I can say it has a very touchy eye box - in comparison to other higher end scopes I have it was one of the first things I noticed and is pretty annoying, but I suppose you could get used to it somewhat
Odd, it has a pretty good eye box. Make sure when mounting the optic you do it with the scope on high power. Not doing so with any scope will cause eye relief issues (or in some cases "critical eye boxes") dependent on the eye relief change in inches from low to high magnification.
THANK YOU BURRIS TEAM !! great products 😍
Thank YOU for the support! 🤝
Hello, just got the 4-20*50. I am having trouble bore sighting. I have a 300 PRC Xbolt pro with Tally rings. Cabelas said I would need to add a rail with the rings to be able to dial the distance on this rifle. Is there any issues using this scope on a xbolt with just medium rings?
Hello,
No, we do not recommend adding a canted base. That will affect the inclinometer in the scope. The maximum distance that you can dial is dependent on where your load ends at 33.8 MOA. 33.8 MOA is the limitation on one turn of the Veracity PH dial.
I am not sure what height Tally recommend for a 50mm objective. We would generally recommend our High 30mm Signature Zee rings with that scope. Ring heights are not an industry standard so you will find variation for manufacture to manufacturer.
If you have further questions please contact our customer service team. customerservice@burrisoptics.com
Burris is consistently the best overall value in optics. Only thing I buy anymore . Now….just have to decide on this or a second Eliminator (love my current one).
We love customers like you !! 🙌
Can’t wait for one with a built in range finder. That would be really handy.
Hi Steve. Have you looked at our Eliminator 6?
www.burrisoptics.com/riflescopes/eliminator-6-4-20x52mm
Does this scope also function the same as a traditional scope if you decide to use it without batteries? And is there a turret lock to prevent accidental adjustment?
Yes if your battery dies etc you can still use it as a traditional scope. They scope will have a zero stop but a "turret lock" per se.
dear Burris,
sorry to bother you again, i have another questions for you.
when you read the windage data on the right inside the scope, is it in MOA? this mean i can adjust either with reticle noor with the turret?
That is correct!
@BurrisOpticsCompany, quick question. What are you using on that Lupo???? I also have a Lupo and looking at some bipods.
Also I bought a Veracity PH. Cant wait to setup and use it in the field
Looks like a Magpul MOE bipod
😁
@@GrantsImagingSolutions I took a screenshot and used Google Image search.. you are correct, it is a magpul. Unfortunately no stock in SA.. now the question is, do I buy in USA and ship to SA.. or just buy Caldwell???
This is great! I am curious, what is the warranty on this product?
These will have the Burris Forever Warranty 🤘
Burris, Vortex and Athlon are the only scope companies that I know of that warranty their electronics for life or forever. All others only have a one year limited warranty with proof of purchase sales receipt like Bushnell on their scopes illuminated scope reticles and rangefinders and electronic sights and red dots and trail cams. Leupold only has 2 year warranty on electronics and others only 3 or 5 years in their electronics. Worst if them are SIG and Trijicon it's limited 5 year warranty on electronics are from date of manufacture not date of purchase.
@@BurrisOpticsCompanywhich is half of why I’ve bought my scopes and ironically, something I’ve never once had to use! Great stuff you make and I work in manufacturing. Awesome company - keep up the great work!
Sky, Can you offer me some assistance? I have all my dope information in correctly and have uploaded to the scope. I am shooting 5 inches high from the bulls eye at 300 yards. My rifle is an Alamo Precision Arms and shoot sub half MOA with my reloads at 100 yards. I have Garmin chrono and that is what I have used to gather my bullet speed. I have a 20 MOA rail so I have turned off my inclination in the app (Customer Service told me to do that). The only thing I can think of is that the 20 MOA rail is messing with the dope?? I have tried to look and see if anyone else is having this issue and could not find anything on the forums out there.
I have spoken with your customer service 2 different times and still having the issue.
So so frustrated, please help!
Regards Mike
Hey Mike, I would recommend trying a 0 MOA base.
How to you dial in the ballistics if it's off at distance? I chronographed the speed, and was able to hit targets out to 530yrds, but shooting high past that mark.
You would mess with you muzzle velocity to better align it at distance by using the dope card feature. We are working on a trueing feature, but don't have a definitive date as of yet.
I confirmed the muzzle velocity is accurate
I have recently purchased one of these scopes done every thing via videos zeroed dial and display screens lowest it will go is 109 yards i have tried to change in settings and it wont update
Do you have a 0 MOA base or are you using a canted rail. If you are using a canted rail, you will need to turn off the inclination compensation in the app and upload those details. That should allow your turret to read 100 yards.
I mounted the scope sighted in to a 200 yd zero, uploaded and still reads 100 yards on zero mark , I can’t change the upload past 100? What can I do?
Contact our customer service team they can walk you through it. 888-440-0244
@@BurrisOpticsCompany I figured it out, just removed factory ammo and manually input bullet and fps and all good ,, thx
Got ya. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Wish it had an illuminated reticle... just a red center dot. Is that being held back for a version 2 next year?
Not that I know of but I'm happy to pass along the feedback!
Mine doesn’t go over 900y for some reason! I can only go one full turn on the turret. Is that how it should be?
The Veracity PH technology allows for approximately 33 MOA of adjustment. It is designed to be a single turn turret. The maximum distance you can dial is determined by your load data within those 33 MOA.
Hey Burris team.. how do I change yards too meters on the scope.. I look in the menu an I phone app can’t find .. thank you
Hello Wayne,
Contact our CS team they will. walk you through it.

Interesting riflescope; are these available in Canada and are there other magnification options available?
These are available in Canada, no problem. Currently we only have the one magnification but I imagine we'll most likely add to that going forward.
i was unable to find the price of this scope, can you tell us?
The MSRP on these is $1200. Here is some more info, thanks for your interest! www.burrisoptics.com/scopes/veracity-riflescopes/veracity-ph-riflescope-4-20x50mm
$999 in stores
Nailed it!
I wish you would have shown how many clicks you were moving the turrets.
The Veracity PH uses a clickless elevation turret. We do have 1/4 MOA laser marking on the turret for reference though.
@@BurrisOpticsCompany What does "clickless" mean? Seems that would have been worth demonstrating...
@@larryclark9380 "The display shows elevation turret position in yards, meters or MOA, as well as rifle cant, rifle angle, distance-accurate wind holdover and battery level.
By providing this information in one clear view, hunters don’t have to pull away from the scope to find the information they need. No more questioning if you have the right information - it’s all right there in one picture". You just dial it in and no need to listen to or count "clicks"
What caliber are you using with the Lupo ??
That is a 6.5 Creedmoor.
Battery Life ?? How long is this battery in hours good for ?/
Hello Lew,
The battery life if roughly 40 hours.
Will it support subsonic rounds?
Yep 👍😁
@@BurrisOpticsCompany thank you! Will definitely get one when it’s available.😁
@@BurrisOpticsCompany how much burris scope
Thanks for your interest!
The MSRP on these is $1200
Outstanding thx!
Can someone please tell me if once its setup and you "zero" the scope and adjust the zero stop through the app will it always read 100 yards in the scopes display?
The scope will read 100 yards at zero on the turret. As you turn the dial the yardage number will increase.
Yes I saw that part in the video upon further review. Thanks@@BurrisOpticsCompany
Does range finder send distance to scope?
Hello David,
No, the range finder of your choice is only to provide you with the distance. Then you dial to the distance that the range finder displayed.
is this illegal in any states to hunt ?
We recommend confirming with governing agent in the state you will be hunting in. Regulations change year-over-year.
Does this have a illuminated reticle
Hello,
Not currently. Only the HUD is illuminated.
They now offer the illuminated cross hair reticle. ✌✌
please take my money..hahah this is im my cart through cabelas...cant wait
Thanks for choosing Burris!
@@BurrisOpticsCompany thanks for making good scopes .I have a couple already and love the reticles
We really appreciate the feedback
1:17 what’s the make/model of the rifle please.
Benelli Lupo in 6.5 creedmoor 👍
Could you do a 200 zero
Yes you can.
What if hornady lied about the performance of their match ammo? Wouldn't it all be off from their. @@BurrisOpticsCompany
Sounds like you may need to confirm the specifications and input the correct parameters into our app manually. If there is something falsified we can correct it in our data, but have not heard of such an issue.
Hey Burris Team.. this is a game changer!!! can you make a video so we can see what the shooter is actually seeing??
Stay tuned! More videos coming 😁
Can the data be trued? Like kestrel.
Absolutely! If your Ballistic data does not seem accurate, you can adjust the profile and true data under your custom bullet profile in the “Ballistics” section. A more in depth truing function is coming soon!
@@BurrisOpticsCompany You mean newer scope or just software upgrade that is downloadable.
@herman harke An app update that is downloadable.
Great
Thanks for your interest!
Sheeesh!!!!
We hope that is a excitement sheeesh. 😁
on next update of the Burris Connect app, please include Hornady CX bullets and Hornady Outfitter factory ammo with CX (as opposed to GMX) bullets.
That is the plan.
Why do you need this when the Eliminator can do all this in one package
It all comes down to personal preference. Some folks prefer to dial their turrets instead of use holdovers. Additionally you can update the scope itself with the app. The Eliminator is still an extremely viable option and isn't going anywhere, however. In theory since you don't have to physically reprogram the scope itself on the Veracity PH, it would be quicker to update on the fly using the live weather data than say, with the Eliminator.
If you already have a hand held ballistic laser range finder, that feature in the Eliminator is redundant. Much easier to scan with a hand held device. The Eliminator 6 costs twice the price of the Veracity PH. I already have a Vortex Razor HD 4000 GB so this is perfect. ✌✌
@chrisross1657 when seconds count like in hunting, with a push of a button, the Eliminator's red dot let's you know exactly where to aim and shoot. Using a handheld rangefinder would waste precious seconds, then adjust the turrets making sure you are correct counting mils or moas, then looking into the glass to take a shot. I love my Eliminator IV and one day when the price comes down I'll get the VI.
@@sailguy0321I completely understand that theory but scanning for game is ridiculously difficult and fatiguing using a scope opposed to using a handheld device like a monocular or even better a binocular. Try it and I guarantee you will never go back to scanning with your scope. ✌️
WHY????????? Who wants to use a cell phone to work your scope and have to use a separate rangefinder??????????? Why not use a Burris Eliminator????????
Some folks prefer to dial their turrets instead of using the reticle. You don't use the phone to "work" the scope. You set up your ballistics in the app and then manually dial your turrets to the indicated distance.
I don't think you understand how the scope works lol
You play golf? 😂
