I think the biggest problem with the Halo CE Remaster was the fact they used models from Reach instead of remaking and updating the Halo CE models such as the Marines and the Covenant. the Marines wore the Halo Reach Army Trooper armour which of course isnt accurate at all as the Marines shouldn't be wearing Army gear with Halo Reach being the only game in the series where you fight alongside the Army not the Marines. Halo 2 on the other hand was great because they recreated every assets faithfully and it looks amazing done by the same studio as well Saber who are now working on Space Marine 2 which is a big surprise.

Then, just to turn around and remake Halo 2 with new assets
@@BNLReactionsas to why they used Reach assets, I don’t know. But as to why they decide to remake assets for 2 was because of the criticism CEA got. They learned their lesson and then made one of the best remasters I’ve seen for a game.
19:49 I know I’m late but I’m sure you noticed they don’t talk like that in reach. Bungie wanted to go for a more grounded war story so they made them speak more of an alien language rather than English. However you can get an idea of how they are feeling based on how they say their alien dialogue, like if they start screaming cuz you killed there leader or stuck a plasma grenade to them.
Halo 1-3 went for a more 80’s sci fi blockbuster war film vibe kinda. Interesting plot, bad ass scenes, and a hint of comedy (most of which coming from the grunts or human marine NPC’s).
In halo reach the grunts don’t speak English much because it’s the first major ground fight they’ve had against the humans
But they do get hilarious in the other games

30:51 doubt he has but the old Bungie crew from 2001-2014 were pretty open about how they are and why they make games. I believe after halo CE’s success, they even got the opportunity to film a documentary on the development of halo 2 and 3 and some shorter documentary videos on ODST and reach and you can get ab idea of how they are.
