I was doing homework when suddenly my parents started to fight in the living room. I was doing homework there. I put my headphones on and started to listen to this. Believe it or not, it made the pain from their screams more bearable, almost unexistent. It made me forget who I was for a moment, and so I continued writing what I had to. Life is pretty interesting... who knew a couple of songs could ease my anxiety?

i should be happy that i have this life.
i have a pretty normal life, pretty boring, bland...
i just don't feel comfortable.
i have friends, nothing bad has happened.
i just feel like i am in this cycle of 'no motivation'
i feel sad,
i feel disappointed,
i try and be positive,

I know she broke my heart, but I can't help loving her. when she moves on, it'll probably hurt a lot, but ill be happy, because she'll be happy. ( Might be total trivial nonsense to you all, but may I suggest the following...just one hour per day stop thinking about everything and anyone, about loss.
Put the alarm clock, no snooze and Wake up an hour earlier than usual, preferably in the dark still or sunrise, put on running shoes and RUnnn. Or walk if running is not possible and before work or school or the usual tasks, Run for yourself and come home at the time you'd usually wake up. Enjoy the extra endorphins your body releases! Take a cold shower and feel proud and strong with yourself and start the day correct. Yes you are hurting and longing, but its nice to get out of the whole life and out of the patterns of sadness and loss and be only with yourself and think only about yourself an hour before the day. Become stronger, feel proud, continue being healthy for yourself and kick ass in life.
Sorry if this sounds totally banal... but it helped me a ton, perhaps give it a try! )

I just got back from visiting my family for the first time in half a year. I don't know when I'll get to see them again. It's so expensive, and these times are so uncertain. I hope I'll get to see them again before the year is over. It's only April, but all I want for Christmas is a chance to hug my mom again.

when my best friend confessed his feelings for me, i wasn't ready. my heart was beating for someone else, not him, and we agreed it would be best for us to give each other space so i could figure things out on my own. barely a week has passed but it's becoming clearer day by day, that the one i thought i loved wasn't really the one for me. we don't have as deep a connection as i have with my best friend, and i'm starting to realise that my best friend is the one i've loved all along. i miss him so much that my heart hurts. i can't wait for the day where we meet face to face again, so i can tell him how much he means to me too.

Yea its super weird, Whenver I play fast paced games and listen to slow music I do much better and im in a good mood.
Inversely, whenever I play slow games and listen to fast music, I do better.
It can be a little frustrating, but I think its interesting. They never mix, the only exception is a game like Minecraft or No mans sky, I can listen to slow music and be alright in those games.
I've found that lofi helps me to not get anxious while playing Destiny or other FPS games as well. :)
