That looks fantastic Larry! Adds another element of sport to a great looking bike too. I really like the re-curve alot. Like you said the stock is “sufficient”. After having ridden a Wing with the F4, I found it to put “life behind the bars” on another level of detectable comfort. Excellent that you mentioned how to adjust windscreen mounting brackets to their fully forward position to correctly align the windscreen to track up/down without to contacting winglets. Like you, I did not have to use the included small silicone protectors, as the newly adjusted mounting brackets now correctly align the windscreen. You be surprised folks see the straight forward simplicity of the installation snd miss that little tid bit of info. Makes a big difference. The windscreen now has all kinds of tracking space. Honda leaves a small amount of adjustability. Cleaning with Paper towels, believe it or not too. I went ahead and picked up the F4 spray cleaner and keep it with me. There are of course other cleaners but measure twice cut once. Take F4 recommendations until you know otherwise. F4 has excellent customer service too. You can call them. The install was so easy and I encourage people to always follow the posted instructions and windshield care guidelines. It is worth it, to take a couple of minutes and review everything. So far I am very happy with my windshield. I will be riding lots this wknd so that will let me test it some more. If there are any issues I will let you know but I think all will be good. There are most likely other good windshields out there but the F4 Customs was the choice for me. It adds great wind protection, clear to look through and so much more. Good evening my friend. Thanks for your positive feedback. I was forced to fly solo on this video although, if you look closely on the split screen you can see Jeff on his Tri Glide. He is never far away. The eagle was a fun thing to add in because my poor pigeon is still out of commission. lol. The windshield is awesome and I am sure I will enjoy it more as time goes on. Nice video and good instructions. I have been thinking about getting one for the extra wind protection, especially as the weather gets colder. I wasn’t even considering the tinted version, but my bike is black too and it really looks sharp with the tint. I do have a few questions-
1. Like you I try not to ride at night, but have you tried it and does it cause any issues seeing through it at night? I was getting the clear version until I saw your video - the tint makes the bike look “pop” much more then the clear. I was just worried about how dark the tint would be and the effect on visibility. That said I ride like you where I have it where I can just look over the top. I only put all the way up when going over 50 mph or if I have a passenger.
2. I noticed that on the F4 site you have to specify 20in and wide (not the std width); is that what you ordered?
3. Have you tested it with a passenger? I am curious as my wife rides with me from time to time and was curious if it provides better protection for them. I also find that she gets quite a bit of wind because it’s picked up by her microphone on the Comms we have, which is annoying to me. Did you try any tests with a passenger?

I got my windscreen from wingstuff.com . The one I got was: Item Code: FCGL1800-2018-20-T-W
Choose Height: 20" Tall
Choose Tint: Tinted.
There was no option for width.
I only ride alone, so never tested with a person on the back but the windscreen do move the air much higher than stock due to the small curve at the top and it is larger.
I rarely ride in the rain but did get stuck in a bad situation for about an hour. There was a heavy rain, heavy bumper to bumper traffic and lots of dirt from the road. The windshield became dirty and difficult to see through. I was forced to lower it and look over the top. That wasn't fun.
Here is my opinion. I would suggest you get the clear windscreen.
The tinted windscreen looks great and is extremely good quality. The protection is also far better than the stock unit. It do have a mild tint but clear would work much better for night or bad weather riding.

I had a gap under the trim cover panel on the front of the windshield, that made me think I'd done something wrong. Did you have a small gap on yours after installation?
Good day and thanks for your visit. I also thought that I had installed the windshield wrong. Everything is good. There is a gap under both trip pannels that I can easily slide a credit card under. The windshield must not be as thick as the original and I only notice it when washing the bike. Thanks for your question. Ride Safe.
