I woke up in a truck at Only hill station of Assam ( Haflong ) It is a beautiful hill station and there is also rail connectivity, after that i came to road i got HitchHike upto Railway Station
Lumding to New Haflong and then upto Silchar train route is so amazing and very beautiful, I took this train from New Haflong Railway Station
When Train Start from New Haflong Railway Station of Assam real Adventure began, The Train was going through most beautiful mountains, Rivers and waterfalls, It was Awesome
I reached Silchar Railway Station at nearly 3 pm and then took another train for Bairabi Railway Station of Mizoram
This train was on 4:30 pm
I got 2 girls from Mizoram and they became my friend and it was first time when i meet to a Mizo girl, we talked a lot and she became my friend and then she asked me at that night where will you stay and i said in train or Bairabi Railway Station and then she said it is not safe, you can sleep on my home and then i went to her home and slept on her home that night

whoever visit mizoram for the first time..dont just stay outside as a stray just ask the mizos to let you sleep for a night and they will surely take you in..and not only that, they will share whatever they got to eat...because it is our cultural practice.... Love Mizoram

I am from WB and I know the hospitality and the cheerfulness of the North-Eastern people. Particularly the Mizo, Naga, Manipuri and the Assamese people. In general, they trust people and love them from the core. Love from Siliguri! ✌️

Sumit Debnath I guess no. Because I've been to Guwahati so many times that it has become my second home city (a kind of). Guwahati has a better infrastructure and lane discipline than what we have here in Siliguri. Not to mention Guwahati is a lot larger than Siliguri by area. But in case of population it is larger by only 1-2lakh which clarifies that Guwahati's population density is under control.
Sumit Debnath I've been there just a few days ago. Seemed less congested than Siliguri again. You come to Siliguri sometime and feel the difference.

Mizos are too honest and kind hearted, their traffic discipline is unique in world, their hospitality is excellent but they fear to make friendship with outsiders and are very reserve in nature.

Haflong is my hometown, the only hill station of Assam and known as Switzerland of the East. Do visit this place again. There are many places to explore here. Till 3:56 is my district, Dima Hasao. ✌👍

Yati Trip I'm from Mizoram studying in MP and yes, i feel like people hate each other out here, i feel bad when they are rude to strangers because that's not how Mizo people do
Most of the tribal from NE will let you stay in their house for sometime if you tell them nicely and they won't hesitate to help you but be careful in Assam as it's more developed than all NE states and you know how people from develope area's behaved (pun intended)

Mizoram is amazing
I wonder why the guy found it difficult to reach New Haflong station from the town till he got a lift in that vehicle. Many vehicles ply each day between the station and the town ferrying passengers. In fact there's no dearth of vehicles to go to the station. Next time if you come please do take proper guidance and information. People of Haflong are very cordial and cooperative.
