  • This video shows how to make a pair of custom racing wheelchair aquaplast gloves. Custom aquaplast gloves are what most top racers use, so many people think they're better than Harness gloves on the track. These gloves are also ideal for the racing wheelchair portion of any long distance paratriathlon. The process is relatively easy, and may be a bit different for each person. Feel free to email me at Jacob@HowiRollSports.com if you have any questions. Visit www.HowiRollSports.com if you're looking for your own custom racing wheelchair aquaplast glove kit. #HowiRollSports

Thanks for the video! You mentioned something about moleskin inside in the gloves. How do you put the moleskin in?

You should be able to purchase Moleskin from your local Walgreens or CVS pharmacy. You simply cut the moleskin to the ideal size, then remove the paper on backside. It's sticky once the paper is removed. Place on the glove.

how do you secure the globe to your hand? I'm a quad, so I can't hold onto it. Do you just grip it?

Hi! It's tough for quads to use hard-shell aquaplast gloves, since it's hard to grip. We'd recommend a pair of Harness 2-pocket Mitts.
