It would be very interesting if you allowed her to finish her sentence at 3:15 and explain how you having any warrants would be related to anything at this moment - rather than interrupted her by saying that you have no warrants - which they are not supposed to believe anyway, and which may only create reasonable suspicion that you are lying.

I served in the military (20+years) ; If you were on a Military Installation, then they can the detain you, BUT if you did not know you were on the Military Installation then they can kick you off. If you refuse, they can Trespass you and transfer you to the local Police, to be removed. THAT is a big IF you committed a crime on the Military Base. If they say you're on Military property (have them show you the Line) If you are just outside of the line of demarcation, mostly painted Blue, Thats the line of the property. ** this is Important to understand** the laws on your side here: The law Posse Comitatus and Martial Law *read it* Bottom line up front (BLUF) the Security Force (Air Force SF) and the Military Police (Army MP's) (also includes the Navy, and Marines. CAN NOT enforce laws off base. Even if they enforce the same State and federal laws on post. If you're on base and commit a crime they can DETAIN you and transfer you the local Feds or COPS. But they can NOT do anything to you unless you committed a crime. Funny how the Works. The law was written a long time ago. The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 prohibits the use of U.S. military forces to perform the tasks of civilian law enforcement such as arrest, apprehension, interrogation, and detention unless explicitly authorized by Congress. The Posse Comitatus Act, signed into law by President Rutherford B. Hayes on June 18, 1878, limits the power of the federal government in the use of federal military personnel to enforce U.S. laws and domestic policies within the borders of the United States. The law was passed as an amendment to an army appropriation bill following the end of Reconstruction and was subsequently amended in 1956 and 1981. As originally enacted in 1878, the Posse Comitatus Act applied only to the U.S. Army but was amended in 1956 to include the Air Force. In addition, the Department of the Navy has enacted regulations intended to apply the Posse Comitatus Act restrictions to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The Posse Comitatus Act does not apply to the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard when acting in a law enforcement capacity within its own state when ordered by the governor of that state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state’s governor. Operating under the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Coast Guard is not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act. While the Coast Guard is an “armed service,” it also has both a maritime law enforcement mission and a federal regulatory agency mission. The Posse Comitatus Act was originally enacted due to the feeling of many members of Congress at the time that President Abraham Lincoln had exceeded his authority during the Civil War by suspending habeas corpus and creating military courts with jurisdiction over civilians. It should be noted that the Posse Comitatus Act greatly limits but does not eliminate the power of the President of the United States to declare "martial law," the assumption of all civilian police powers by the military. The president, under his or her constitutional powers to put down insurrection, rebellion, or invasion, may declare martial law when local law enforcement and court systems have ceased to function. For example, after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, President Roosevelt declared martial law in Hawaii at the request of the territorial governor.
Good audit. Nice to see the military officer did not violate your rights and just came out to see what was going on and let you know where the military base starts at and not to cross it. Very professional on both sides!
I worked on that base as a civilian in '84-'86 when I was on the LCAC test team. It was called the Naval Coastal Systems Center back then. Navy SEALs did some training there, and a lot of mine sweeper testing was done out in the Gulf from there. I miss that area.
You know what burns me is that every last one of these departments know to not turn photography into a crime but yet they still try to anyways so that goes to show you the lack of respect they have when a Superior hands them memos telling them to not do something and they do the complete opposite🤦
Notice how the guard wouldn't cross the line? That's so awesome. Before, they'd come out and act like they owned everything. The blue line keeps THEM in check. I freaking love it!
Wow, A Major for a person at the front gate. That is an O-4 pay grade. I will point out that in the army, the officers stay in the rear and send their soldiers to the front. The Air Force on the other hand, airmen put their officers into airplanes and send them to the front.

They always shake your hand then arrest u or assault u etc. then they always say nowadays no no no everyday u stand up for your rights and freedoms past, present and future
Whenever I hear him say, "If I don't show my ID will you arrest me?", I get worried that he is about to surrender his Fourth Amendment right and let cops succeed in bullying a law abiding citizen. I find it more satisfying to hear a law abiding citizen invoke their Fourth Amendment right and absolutely refuse to surrender their ID.
I worry that a judge may interpret their willingness to hand over their ID as a voluntary act that involves surrendering their Fourth Amendment. I think it better to stand firm and invoke the Fourth Amendment than to allow for someone to interpret the act of willingly handing over an ID as a relinquishing of their Fourth Amendment right.
When she says you don't know them they don't know you, the thing that when she said that I was thinking they don't know the LAW either. Love how the MJR stopped at the blue line like it was some sort of force field.
Actually unfortunately you're wrong Jeff the blue line is not illegal demarcation of any sort it's merely a warning that you're about to approach a demarcation line which would be yellow or orange paint on fence post and would be delineated by a fence post a blue line painted on a roadway is nothing but a warning and it doesn't hold any water with Jag nor with law I've been through it at the Glenview naval Base many times
The police do this because they are brain washed. They want to find out everything they can about you. Then your info goes into a data base, then you could even be on a watch list or classified as a terrorist.
"Be safe" -- if I never hear that phrase again, I'll be plenty happy. Another is "thank you for your service." I don't need that kind of service, no thanks.

The deputies escalated this whole thing nor is there anything Top-Secret here.
Absolutely. Naval support activity? The less vital the asset, the more they have to puff their chest out or something
The combination of buttery voice, unwavering level of calm, and easy-going attitude is contagious. Time and time again I see the police (not all, but most) you interact with immediately mirror it. Heck, I feel more calm listening to you. Don't stop doing what you do!
Absolutely correct my friend, he is brilliant. Stand for freedom my friend never give it up. Love from an old granny from Britain
Officer, produce the 'signed sworn complaint' that articulates Wrongdoing.
It had nothing to do with JF. It’s part of the lawsuit I filed in La against the LaNat Guard/US Army
I m the only one that has actually sued the Government over this. Nobody else has followed through with a lawsuit.
There’s a reason he’s a Major! Respect and thank you for your service Major! 🇺🇸
Well that's a shocker..the property line is a "Blue Line" 🤦♂️
Interesting right. This must 1932 and we don't allow cameras on this base. I can almost guarantee that everyone that drives onto that base has a modern cellphone that has a camera built in. I still have a bag phone from the 80s but I only use it to stop paperwork from flying off the dashboard while traveling with the windows open. These people we hire to "Serve and Protect" us.
@@dwainmcwilliams2043 it’s the difference between _having_ a camera on the base and _using_ the camera on the base.
Military installations accept that phone cameras are a fact of life, thats why you can take a phone call on base but if you use the same phone to photograph stuff you’re probably gonna have to answer some questions.
@@realburglazofficial2613 I know I was up to my usual fun for the day. Thanks, take care
7:15 Nothing more dangerous than a man with a camera. I'm glad Major Hartman is wearing his hard hat with chin strap just in case Jeff unleashes a flurry of image captures or the Major needs to jump from his vehicle to capture an person taking a few shots with their iPhone while at the base's commissary parking lot.
I agree , that assault camera has an automatic shooting capacity of more than 5 shots per seconds.
Cops " I need your ID so we can find out who you are".
Translation: " give up your rights so we can find away to put you in a cage and take any money you might have.
Don't make us hurt you to do that"
You could have told him that the reason there is a new blue line there is because you made them paint it there so they know to stay on their side and leave the free press and the citizens alone.
IMO> It's their need for an ID fix, cops don't care if someone has rights it's the all important suspicion's that were all criminals! Cops don't mind if they break the law, as long as they can use Qualified Immunity when they do! Good second Audit, I think their learning!
I love the thinking, "Well, if you don't have any warrants you'll be free to go" which literally means, "Give me your ID so I can check to see if you have warrants" It's as if keeping track of the falsehoods is too hard for them to keep straight.
If I'm not detained, I'm free to go now, so I can nothing by you running my ID. Don't act like you are doing me a favor by granting me permission to do what I can already do.
It would be very interesting if you allowed her to finish her sentence at 3:15 and explain how you having any warrants would be related to anything at this moment - rather than interrupted her by saying that you have no warrants - which they are not supposed to believe anyway, and which may only create reasonable suspicion that you are lying.
But nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition warrants. Their Chief’s weapons are fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an also fanatical devotion to the mayor, and these snazzy badged uniforms.
Saying you don't have warrants being reasonable suspicion you do have warrants is pathetic cop logic.
Here you go. Take this comment for the algorithm. Have at ya Jeff.
Lady should keep her copsplainin to grade school children. Such a sweet voice and alllllll.
A voice like hers would do my head in, your doing a great job, 👍👌 be safe. Regards, Ian.
It goes from JUST a “general concern” to her wanting all your info 😑 🤦🏻♂️
That is prolly the most action they’ve ever seen/had 🥴🥴🙄
Your channel, Amagansett Press, and WTW are the only channels I watch anymore. Although I’ve started Long Island Audit here recently. News Now Houston when he was out auditing is what first got me watching..
Jeff is my hero! I would love to shadow him on an Audit! Great work and big fan
*ALWAYS have to give directives as if the huge blue line, STOP sign and other warning signs don't exist. You're definitely the Godfather of auditing and I don't know how you remain calm and respectful when guys like him talk to you as if you're 8 years old. I couldn't do it without being a smartass back.*
Thanks for the revisit. The military now knows the law. Not sure if the local PD knows and understands the law.
When my license expires, I’m going to grind it up into a fine powder and carry it in my car just for these types of encounters.
5:09 - I like this blue line. Not the one on American flags!
She's befuddled. Two times she tried, two times she failed.
Thanx for what you do Patriot.
Why can't he cross the line? And visit the facility after going thru gate?
Ppl visit bases to see family, apply for jobs, etc.
It's not illegal
I worked on that base as a civilian in '84-'86 when I was on the LCAC test team. It was called the Naval Coastal Systems Center back then. Navy SEALs did some training there, and a lot of mine sweeper testing was done out in the Gulf from there. I miss that area.
I love this Introduction. First name only and a business card. Stay focused and vigilant and professional. Keep up the good work 💯
You know what burns me is that every last one of these departments know to not turn photography into a crime but yet they still try to anyways so that goes to show you the lack of respect they have when a Superior hands them memos telling them to not do something and they do the complete opposite🤦
No problem this time. GREAT job by both of you.
Algorithm, just drop your rights and do what we say. Maybe they learned?
"We are the US government and are not representatives of the people that fund us".
When THEY don't know where the property line is people are getting arrested.
Notice how the guard wouldn't cross the line? That's so awesome. Before, they'd come out and act like they owned everything. The blue line keeps THEM in check. I freaking love it!
The sales pitch of "We're scared and we want you to be scared, too!"
“Especially with what’s going on in the world today.”
Reading straight from the script.
I'm glad to see that the blue line has been added.
Be safe, Jeff!
Love the Django Unchained reference. "Get the Sheriff, then the Marshall"
Was Watching The Watchman arrested? I thought he was not arrested.
Very good return visit.
"What's your birthday?"
"Why? You gonna get me a present?"
The guard wouldn't come past the blue line. So, now THEY know where their authority ends. Beautiful.
Base police guy in the end was cool...he knew his jurisdiction.
The blue line. It has become a symbol of the "line of demarkation" between civilians and pubic servants.
Wow, A Major for a person at the front gate. That is an O-4 pay grade. I will point out that in the army, the officers stay in the rear and send their soldiers to the front. The Air Force on the other hand, airmen put their officers into airplanes and send them to the front.
Bullshit... my Dad was an Infantry officer and was on the front lines, in combat, in WWII, Korea and Vietnam...
The Major has been educated thereby a rational inspection was carried out without any drama
@@tomkatf - He wasn't a major (O4)
youre the best auditor ive seen. you put the date on so we know youre not an old dated video. other meatheads put up old ones for views. shouldnt be the point. put up recent news and show the date. clearly this installation has improved so things are working as it should. great job!
Good work, Jeff. Thanks for protecting our rights. 👍
Why doesn’t the blue property line continue onto the sidewalk for pedestrians as well?? Looks half ass to me because it doesn’t look finished.
Does anyone know where I can find the policy, directive, law......on the demarcation line??? I have searched for it but cannot find it.
it shall forever be known as, *_The Freeman Line_*
Cops always comes to you so friendly and that’s when you should be aware
Haven’t they already ruled that you can’t make a camera suspicious activity when it is protected by the constitution
3:05 That look. She’s never been told no before. Jeff never once said he was recording the base too just the traffic. She said that and was really dumb after being told he’s a civil rights investigator over and over again but still pressed for his identification.🙄
They always shake your hand then arrest u or assault u etc. then they always say nowadays no no no everyday u stand up for your rights and freedoms past, present and future
Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Spent a lot of time in PCB never really had any issues....👍🇺🇸
Jeff is a good man.
Much love from Panama City 👋🏻👀👍🏻
It seems pretty sad that the military has to call local PD for backup. Oh my god a guy with a camera what are we gonna do!
Them: You are not being detained...
You: Goodbye!
Why do police think the only way to document is to get your ID and DOB ?
The police do this because they are brain washed. They want to find out everything they can about you. Then your info goes into a data base, then you could even be on a watch list or classified as a terrorist.
You got a major! They put a higher priority on contact with the public.
I see a TV show possibility - "Major Hartman, Major Hartman"
"Be safe" -- if I never hear that phrase again, I'll be plenty happy. Another is "thank you for your service." I don't need that kind of service, no thanks.
Thank u for ur activism. I call u the “Gentleman Activist”
@Jeff - Great work brother, I appreciate the work you do for all of us. Question: Is it easier or harder to do audits when you can wear a mask without suspicion during the pandemic era we are currently in?
Welcome back to Panama City, Beach. This is where I'm stationed at. Wish i could have met ya. Be safe out there Jeff
Wait, WHAT ? I love the look and attitude change when they hear "No ID"
2:10
“With what’s going on in the world today..”
Classic.
I had not seen the 2018 encounter, but would have been GREAT, if you told her those other people were “Suspicious” and asked her to follow you over to them and ID and check them for warrants. 🤷🏻♂️😏
The cop-splaining from the female is off the hook!
The Major was great. “Whutcha up to? Wanna speak with media team? Cross the line, ID. You’re good over there. Take it easy. Bye!” Polite. Professional. Respectful. Adult.
Looks easy….
