it deletes the progress of the game (the save data) if you do delete the data it will not delete the game but the data cannot be recovered once deleted

it only delets your save data, it doesnt delete the game off your switch. make sure you dont click quick archive, because that wih delete the entire game itself. i almost did that, but i had second thoughts and looked up a tutorial. again, it DOES NOT delete the entire game. just the data on the game.

How much space does saving games take up? I'm getting a Switch Lite for Christmas and some games (cartridges) so I won't be getting massive downloads, but I want to know how much space saving your games take up.
