- Marxism and Neo-Marxism are explained in detail here. Marxism deals with high level of inequality in the world. There are two major divisions in Marxism:
1) Classical Marxism (The proponents being Karls Marx, Friedrich Engels and Vladimir Lenin)
2) Neo-Marxism {#WorldSystemTheory (by Immanuel #Wallerstein) and #DependencyTheory explains this}
The Oxfam report highlights the global inequality by multiple examples. Some of them have been illustrated here. Marxism and Neomarxism very well explains this wealth gap between rich and poor. Marxism also explains why some people are rich and some are poor.
#ThirdWorld countries are poor because the Global North usually exploits the Global South. Global North and Global South are very important terms in neomarxism. This short lecture will explain the IR theories of Marxism and Neo-Marxism. The channel Geography Fox explains all theories of International Relation.
Thanks for the explanation.
Where would nations like Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and UAE fall under? Periphery of the center nations?
Thanks
Very helpful videos 👍👏👌

Thank u sir
Level of analysis for neomarxism... Social class?
Marxism too?
Marxism talks about class conflict within a society so we can say it's level of analysis is individual. Neo-marxism talks about inequality at international level
Marx analysed economic aspect of the class conflict where as neo Marxist counterpart looked into cultural aspects of the class conflict.
