- Featuring academics from the International Relations Department at the LSE, ‘Aspects of IR: International Political Economy’ is a short film about the study of international political economy, particularly at the LSE.
The film looks at what we study, and why, and also at the major themes in IPE, such as the financial crisis, climate change and globalisation of markets. It debates how IPE fits into IR, and the rewards and value of studying IPE.

You can't have economics without politics and politics without economics. Economic decisions are political and political decisions are economic.
Love this. Yess. And I’m glad for that because I’m interested in both!
@@mdougf search the duke university intro to political economy. Watch the series. Theyre excellent. Lots of polit theory, so you may know lots of the stuff, but the anecdotes and lessons are priceless. Read ascent of money and read about gold. Enjoy ;)

I Like the Globally Allie Impact in War and in Political Economy.
Thank you.
Nice!
Great Video ! What I did not quite understand is your approach. So from my point of view your approach is a Realist/ Neorealist one. Am I right or mistaken ? And if I am right does International Political Economy also approach from different perspektives like constructivist or institutionalist theories ?
I'll take English and PIR at university of Oxford ! Insya Allah, wait me Oxford there. Be confident ! 🇬🇧♥️
IPE is an approach and study that combines both political factors and economic forces on the international stage; a much grander scale of what Political Economy does domestically. To some extent, would it be fair to suggest Political Economy on its own cannot be comprehensively understood without looking at the international forces and events that impact domestic markets, domestic politics, and domestic political economy?
Finally, we are talking about the political and economic state of the world, smh.
Can someone tell me the conclusion of the video please ???
Really this is what new world wants
Political interaction force and critical force ... This is called relation between power relationship
It would be amazing to study at the LSE. I really want to study there. *-* But I don´t know if I can. :( No matter, I´m looking Forward to study economics. Hopefully at LSE. But first I have to finish school. :D
+iloveBeachvolleyball One Question: Is it possible to study in Germany first, for example to do a Bachelor and then do the Master in England at LSE? It would be great. :)
Charly yes u can do that
@@iloveBeachvolleyball how'd it go?
My ambition is that there is no need for international relations - that there only should be institutional relations within the global civilization and federalism
Let's make a choir out of global political economy. If all the singers in the political arena start to sing to their own tune, surely the coonsert of economy start to song in all kinds of rythmic ways. Let's start the choir. Sing! The song is Beethoven's "Ride of the Valkyries". Everybody like it. Okey start the practice!
I wish to study economic In lse

Hello, My name is Haridan Jhondum. I graduated from Bachelor's degree in Political Science in Thailand. So, May I ask something? Is there International relation program for Master degree? and Is there any scholarship for it? If whoever know about that please do not hesitate to reply or let me know. Thank you.
+Haridan Jhon Go on the LSE website, find your programme and then request information from them, or read it up on their website.
+Daniel Kurzyna Thank you so much.
Actually, I have been trying to find it from LSE website, but I do not find it, However, I will try carefully again. Thank you for your comment.
+Daniel Kurzyna May I ask you? Are you studying at LSE? Thank you.
Is it about politics of economics and economics of politics?

How does Planned Obsolescence affect markets? Ask that of an economist.
I asked a PhD economist from the University of Chicago to explain how an automobile engine worked. He couldn't even start.
But economists do not talk about the annual depreciation of automobiles. Nitwits!

IPE is made up of different schools of thought, its not a clear cut discipline. Each school of thought borrows from the other hence giving rise to unique ideas
