Hey everyone, y’all come along and help me with my major crisis with my boat!
Then we have some World Series Of Team Roping runs to go over and see where it went wrong!
But last but not least, let’s go check out the new way to pour concrete! DRY POUR CONCRETE!
Thank y’all for watching and hope you all enjoy!
I also like my drypour mine is holding up well no issues, and looks better than the wet pour that it is next to. Nice video 👍.
Thank you much! I’m definitely pleased!
Nice....
Thank you very much!
Cool. So it's lasted 2 or 3 months. The 1 and 2 year update will be the ones that actually say something. 😉
Well I hope you stick around and I will gladly show the results weather good or bad!
That little camera girls song was the BEST!😂😂😂❤❤❤
Haha definitely my favorite part!! Lol
I gave u a sub because i know how hard it is for some 1 posting concrete content to reach 1000 subs. and like yur style
Thank you very much for the help!
I got a tripod thats only 1 years old and cheaper than yur 6 year old. Jk i have a six yr old daughter too and ahe makes it into a few scenes sometimes
Hahah. Yessir I have a tripod also but sometimes it isn’t readily available lol. Thank you for watching! Definitely subscribing to your channel! Thanks for the comment
@@bayoufarmlife thank u bro! I get it totally
So I did a dry pour slab and oh god, as a perfectionist tried my best to make it perfect but eventually (3 hours of finishing) I gave up and figured a little imperfections wouldn’t hurt.
So I misted it twice (once per hour) then did the showering 1 per hour as well and it came out looking great overall but… there was spots where it bubbled (spalled) and created little circle craters. I am really curious what went wrong. Did I over mist, not mist enough? Or is it part of dry pour method? I see you have some on your slab too. What do you think it is?
If anyone knows lmk! 😊
Hi! First off, thank you for watching! Secondly down to business! If you see areas where the concrete has bubbled upward almost as if the top isn’t set with the rest of the slab, in my experience that is the result of to much water! In this process, less is more with the water. As far as the the small craters as you described it, I would think that would be the results of too heavy of water too soon. So maybe the mist that you done was a little excessive or not enough movement. If you want Cajun Country Livins video, they stress the importance of steadily moving during the watering process, especially the misting.
But nevertheless, I’m sure the slab will hold up excellent for you and I hope you can find the imperfections as a stepping stone and enjoy it for years to come!
@@bayoufarmlife Thank you so much for sharing your response. Yeah I learned a lot and the little imperfections will just be motivation to maybe repair it or stain it or something to make it look intentional hah. Thanks again. Ill do another pour and then see if lighter misting will help. I think I might have put a little too much water 🙄
Yikes….I guess the boat could have been worse, like the outboard being trashed.
Looked like ya caught 3 with the header with no hat. What happened? Why didn’t y’all get a 4th steer? What level was it, 7, 8.5 or higher? Walkway looks just fine. Enjoyed it as always.
The first steer with that guy was in the 9 roping! The second 2 was in the 8 roping and he missed our 3rd steer to be high call!
@@bayoufarmlife missed to be high call….ouch! Thanks for the update
