Hull Fair 2021 | Friday 8th October | Opening Night | Walk Through and On Ride POVs

- It's back after a 2 year absence, its Europes biggest travelling fair, Hull Fair.
Join Theo and myself as we head back to Hull for opening night of Hull Fair. Located on Walton Street Car Park is and experience you'll never forget. There are rides for everyone with Juvenile rides, Family Rides, Extreme Rides, Brand New Rides, Rare Rides, Game Stalls, Arcades and probably 99 food stalls!
In this vlog we bring you a walk round of the ground before dark showing 90% of the ground with what rides are there this year and their placement. Not only that, we ride the 2 best waltzer rides at Hull, Evans Atmosphere Creator and Atha's Hell Blazer. The question is, which was best? We also bring you TWO dodgem battles and Theo even did a NEW RIDE!
Ride prices vary throughout the fair with some rides being ad little as £1. The more extreme bigger rides however are a lot more expensive. Take plenty of cash with you, but some rides do accept card this year.
We use Park and Ride to get here but using Priory Car Park, which is located close to Humber Bridge. The car park is free and you only pay for the bus. Adult return is £3.50, Child return is £2.50. Under 5s are free. They also do a family return ticket for £9 based on 2 adults and 3 children. The bus runs as late as 11pm on its returning journey and drops off at Walton Street. Other car parking is available, but there are lots of road works in Hull and congestion. I would recommend Park and Ride.
The Fair is on until Saturday 16th October 2021 (Closed Sunday), but open daily.
Opens 2pm until 11pm (open 12pm Saturday).
Security and police present on site. If you are taking children with you, please ensure you keep them by your side through the day or night. The police have suggested taking a photo of your child/children that day so you can easily describe them, should they get lost.
Toilets are on site as well as first aid.
Height restrictions apply on rides. Please note that Theo is 1.23m and the age of 6. Please check boards before assuming height and comparison to Theo. The Tagada featured within this vlog was at 1.2m.
Please note we use specific equipment to film on rides. We strongly suggest that you don't use your phone on rides.

Theres a lot to take into account when judging a waltzer battle... its more than just the ride, each ride was better at something... overall, I feel Atha's did win with one, but could have been different if we did AC later in the night

Fantastic! They’ve upped the fog budget this year for sure. The second waltzer looked faster but the first one had more impressive lighting, both were amazing though. How stunning did Ice Jet look!! Outer Limits is mad isn’t it, my favourite fun house.

Amazing Vlog I have to say it was one each on the dodgems.. Theo really did not like you singing 🤣 he was so brave on the Tagada not one for me
The first fun house looked a lot of fun was surprised Theo did not go back on the slide once he had confidence

Was there yesterday afternoon and went on Ice Jet which was just amazing ride, enjoyed it. Theo won the first Dodgems but I think it was a drew on the second round. Hull fair bring back memories for me as a Kid because one of my uncles lived down there back in the 1970's/80's. And one year he open his front room up as a toy shop, that would have been about 1982 or 1983. Great to see you back in Hull and here's to next years fair.

Fabulous vlog Paul. What a fantastic fair Hull is and all those top funfair attractions and rides. Awesome stuff and I thought Theo was so brave to ride some of them. FINALLY!!! You are the first one that I've seen that cracked the code of funhouse moving stairs. For the longest time I've rolled my eyes at the sight of people pulling their groins, when you can actually get to the top without bending your knees! Great job 😆👍 Now you need to practice the conveyer belt. 🙄

Surprised to hear that cyclone was faster than usual, I always thought it went slower with it being a lifting one. Hopefully they will up the speed here in Scarborough. Should of done King Frog too as that seems a better cycle than jumpin.

Yes the Cyclone was the best I've seen that!! Kind frog we did in 2019 and runs the same as Scarborough , but runs well in Scarborough anyway, but I agree, Jumpin has been better

@@PTVlogsUK yeah it definitely doesn’t help if the bins are already full, maybe the council could do more regular empties/collections when the fairs on. I’m assuming it’s the councils responsibility. it’s not surprising to see but it is still sad to see it.
There is usually loads of fun houses at Nottinghams James mellors goose fair which hasn't been on since 2019 Hull fair looks just has big has our annual fair looks like theo had a good time

Hi Paul and Theo looked great at hull fair a lot of rides to get through it’s one of the best fairs in the uk hope you enjoyed yourselves the dodgems war was good to see very good driver Theo,you kept saying it was very loud with the music, just a thought did you think about Theo’s ears and loud noise,I myself suffer from tinnitus due to loud noise through my working career I have constant buzzing in my head all the time it’s not nice so just saying any way keep up the good work. Theo went when he was 4 so yes... there's plenty to do for 2 year olds too. Just keep them close to you, as it's very busy

I think hellblazer was better than atmosphere creator by a narrow margin. For me hellblazer spins better and better music. Although the soundsystem and lighting package on atmosphere creator is better. Both incredible machines though.
