Like they were the only ones who got something good out of it, he and his father get along and he even calls his parents at a low point during Army of the Doomstar. Meanwhile everybody else hated their families and seeing them again didn't change that much at all going forward in the series.

I think it's fair to say he probably just hated being forced to start being more responsible when Nathan was conceived. He can't really blame Nathan for that when he chose to bust a nut in his mom while she was in heat.
This is truth in the world today. There are so many bad fathers that they outweigh the good ones in the world. Myself and my friends, except for one, all have fucked up fathers; deadbeat dads or just abusive and neglectful. The exception of the group, never knew his, like Skwisgaar. His passed away when he was just an infant. According to his mother, his father was a good man.

I think it's fair to say he probably just hated being forced to start being more responsible when Nathan was conceived. He can't really blame Nathan for that when he chose to bust a nut in his mom while she was in heat.

This is truth in the world today. There are so many bad fathers that they outweigh the good ones in the world. Myself and my friends, except for one, all have fucked up fathers; deadbeat dads or just abusive and neglectful. The exception of the group, never knew his, like Skwisgaar. His passed away when he was just an infant. According to his mother, his father was a good man.

The fact his dad admitted to being pissed he had to use his drinking money for Nathan to Nathan himself does show Nathan and his dad are cool and Nathan really likes him. Too bad I'm Skisgar in this dad relationship story.
My friends are like this about their moms, and I'm like Nathan just having a great relationship with my mom. Hanging out, going to the zoo, seeing wrestling shows together.
I aspire to be as dedicated to both my craft and my familial relationships as Nathan is.
God, this makes me sad, knowing there are plenty of people who have these types of relationships with their fathers. Meanwhile I know mines is honest, hardworking and loving, man.... it makes you think.

@@masonrawls6436 basically I found out he cheated throughout most of my childhood and just how he was abusive towards my mom. Especially when we really tried to have quality family time.
goes to show that if you keep your kids at arms' length, they'll grow to hate you no matter how much you care for them, but make even a token attempt to bond with them with what they or both of you love, than you'll have a friend as well son who looks up to you instead.....why is that so difficult for parents both old and current to grasp??
