For young people in Europe to play American music at this high level is astounding. It is very hard to capture the grass roots sound, tone and look from this period in the 1950's. Bravo - well done.
Stray Cat who ?? .. Unbelievable ! Never heard of these guys before, but they are great. That chick rocks that bass ! My dad is in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and would LOVE this ! Great video !
10 strings, two drums and some cymbals, the room is rockin. Poor useless pop bands watch and dream in awe of this talent. Great track and great talent, cheered me right up...
WOW, This is a great sounding band. Really talented musicians, no electronic assistance, Love the Drummers style too, clean crisp and musical unlike the usual 'Thump Thump Thump' on an electronic bass drum along with 'technical' assistance. Nice to hear real music again, we should look into this amazing group and learn more about real Rockabilly Music. Terry Offord, (Retired Band Leader.)
Magnificent Swamp Shakers, ¡y vaya que tienen saoco my brothers! Guitar boy sparks in that one. Thanks and best regards to all the Latvia people from Medellín. ✌🏼🍻🎸🇨🇴
Good sound looks like they enjoy their music as much as me I posted this 12 months ago and I've not stopped listening to them this track is absolutely brilliant
Wow ! Didnt think young people would be into this stuff. This is from early 50s. That's the dance Norton tried to teach Ralph on the Honeymooners TV show from '56.
Yep, and Norton really tore it up with his dancing. That guy could do anything, rollerskate, do the Huclebuck, play the bugle, whatever. Art Carney rocks !
An upright bass can be very useful. In case of flood you can float on one (unless you let it fill with water). You can engage a luthier to build a door in the back side to hold liquor or lunch. I keep mine in a corner behind the piano bench and lean on it when I'm doodling on the piano. Other players have other uses.
Everybody, I mean EVERYBODY in the band is literally rocking their ass off but being a guitar player, I think this "young" guitar player deserves to be singled out ........... Man, what a nice and fun party !!
Cool, it's funny how I see this again and it's great everytime :) That guitarist is very talented :D hope to see him do much more! Junior Watson will probably enjoy this one very much!
Fantastic band! When this pandemic is over I'm coming to Latvia to see you play live. :-) I just bought your album "Don't Wanna Miss" on Bandcamp and am enjoying it now. Keep playing and stay well ...
This is great seeing young people keeping this style of music alive.
That dude knows how to make a guitar sing. Some bebop licks make rockabilly even sexier.
Keeping Rockabilly alive and well.
We will, Frank! :)
Absolutely brilliant
Rockabilly will never die.
amen !!!

I'm going to keep watching this over and over because it deserves far more views than it has.
LOVE THIS BAND!
Great sound.
You are more than just Swamp Shakers. Y'all are Room Movers!
Thanks for letting us see your talent.
Wow, thank you!
Love the guitar playing, excellent drumming and I think I'm in love with Annie the bassist.
Musical talent worthy of significant respect, in my humble opinion.
Never heard of this band before, but 20 seconds into the performance and I'm already smiling. Excellent job!
Me too..
Watch ronnie-guitar..
Great sound! Straightforward rockabilly. Didn't want the jam to stop!

Oh my God! This girl is amazing. She is mainly enjoying and then playing. Excellent group!!
needs to get her scythe miked up, she plays too good to be lost in the background like that

Greetings from a Rockabilly bass player from Texas. Well done!!!
That's a stand up job for a three piece combo, you can rock this town inside out.
Now if we could just get Art Carnie to dance along with y'all!
This was perfect in so many ways.
Wonderful!

I don't know how the fuck youtube knew I'd like this video. There is absolutely NO rockabilly music in my history! I FUCKING LOVE THIS!
this was the origins of all rock....
Great rock-a-billy version of this classic tune. Band sounds Great!
Imagine what the 1950s critics of Elvis's shaking of his hips would have thought of this lady's physical style of playing the bass!!! Great music btw😎
Look up Shoot Shoot by Batmobile, that one address it!
@@sethmarks2822 Thanks for the suggestion 😎
Yeah no joke, huh?
10 strings, two drums and some cymbals, the room is rockin. Poor useless pop bands watch and dream in awe of this talent. Great track and great talent, cheered me right up...

Wow ! Didnt think young people would be into this stuff. This is from early 50s. That's the dance Norton tried to teach Ralph on the Honeymooners TV show from '56.
axiomist one of the greatest scenes in the Honeymooners
Originally it was called, Happy Go Lucky Loco, a Duke Ellington composition from the 40's or 30's.
Amaizing band amaizing energy you have ❤❤❤❤never lose it❤
From Los Angeles Respect Keep Rockin !!!
❤A fantastic version ❤
R N R 4 ever.....
Nice riff 🔥💙
I saw them playing live in Estonia at the August Blues Festival. They literally jammed the traffic 🤘
Great band !! listening at work in the United States !!!
Oh man this brings back some memories when I hear the hucklebuck I think about The Honeymooners the great Jackie Gleason and the great Art Carney
Yep, and Norton really tore it up with his dancing. That guy could do anything, rollerskate, do the Huclebuck, play the bugle, whatever. Art Carney rocks !
Music the way it oughta be!
The sound of FREEDOM !!!
Keep on rocking keep on rolling
Will do!
GREAT BAND!
Thanks!:)
Alright, I'm hooked. Great music, love it.
Saw them 2 weeks ago on XII Festival Blues nad Odra in my small hometown :) Brilliant band!
How'd it take UA-cam 3 years to put this in my feed? Right up my alley.
GREAT STUFF!!!
They are all awesome; the kid on the bass knocks me out!
Love that rockabilly sound
guitar player reminds me of a young cat Brian Setzer in his early days. Love the Epiphone Casino!
Yes, but Brian uses Gretsch guitars
The bass player is so good. She makes me want to trade my solid body electric in for an upright bass! VERY inspiring!
Trade? Why trade? Play em both. Play em all. Play whatever instruments you can get your hands on.
They are pretty easy to play, once you get used to the neck
Every bass player needs an upright
An upright bass can be very useful. In case of flood you can float on one (unless you let it fill with water). You can engage a luthier to build a door in the back side to hold liquor or lunch. @@cliffords2315 Not easy to play well or in tune.
Great work! I like your energy
Thank you so much 🤗
Everybody, I mean EVERYBODY in the band is literally rocking their ass off but being a guitar player, I think this "young" guitar player deserves to be singled out ........... Man, what a nice and fun party !!
Excellent! The bassist is just on fire. This would be huge in Japan, sort of a high energy rockabilly/swing follow-on to the Ventures.
I'd like to hear this mixed with more bass and less drums, but the rhythm is tight!
That’s just awesome. I enjoyed every second of that!
Great The Huckelbuck!!!... Excelente!!!!. (Ever whith my harmónica)
Absolutely brilliant playing!! Awesome!! And those epiphones sound like if they were super expensive vintage collection gibsons...
You're absolutely right! ;)
I love The Swamp Shackers. When people at work hear me listening they'll say is that Elvis.
Cool, it's funny how I see this again and it's great everytime :)
That guitarist is very talented :D hope to see him do much more!
Junior Watson will probably enjoy this one very much!
Eddie Parker you guys are absolutely awesome brovo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Первый раз увидели их в Риге - играли на летней площадке кафе. Собрали толпу! Классные ребята!
Fantastic !!
素晴らしい!ご機嫌だぁ!!!かっこいい!
Thank You, Montage! ;)
Fantastic band! When this pandemic is over I'm coming to Latvia to see you play live. :-) I just bought your album "Don't Wanna Miss" on Bandcamp and am enjoying it now. Keep playing and stay well ...
Awesome! Thank you!
I dig this band.
