    RIP Greg Bryant.....When I watch these highlights I haveseen bigger and faster RBs but Bryant's vision is ridiculously good. Always seems to hit the holes quickly and his YAC with that elusiveness is very impressive. Seemed like he almost had his life together too. A life lost just too young. Thoughts and prayers to his family on this tragic loss.

    his shiftiness and juking are top level. You can see how multiple times in the video that he bobs and weaves through traffic and the smallest of spaces.

    To me personally, I think this kid has great foot work. Very fast out of his cuts and he is able to cut and then cut again very quickly. He has great change of directions and has good speed. The kid has a hell of a stutter step. He does well after contact. Now there are some things he can work on but he will develop those at the next level and if he stays hungry he will master them and we could be seeing Mr. Bryant on Sundays.

    Greg is such an INCREDIBLE running back! Check out 2014 graduate Donovan Lee Chaminade College Prep Junior Highlights from California. Donovan is a versatile player and as a top junior in the state of California, he hopes to follow in Greg's success during his senior year!

    This kid has great instincts and I'd love to see him play for OU, but he's also a good example of why I never get excited about verbal commitments. He's still checking out other schools and I can't blame him for weighing all his options. Until he signs his intent, other schools will be all over him. It will be fun to watch him no matter where he goes.

    That shiftiness is best displayed on the run at 2:50; while he's not the fastest RB, overall I like him alot because he's well-built and very manoeverable

    That's kink of what I think, he just seems to have that kind of build. This is the first time in a long time that ND has had the kind of running back that really impressed me.And one of the reasons they got whipped by Alabama was because they didn't have enough guys like this. This year they have four guys that impress me: Bryant, Jaylon Smith, Eddie Vanderdoes, and Max Redfield

    That's why running back is one of my favorite positions, it's so hard to evaluate who's gonna be great. I mean they come in so many different body types and have different styles. For example, according to all the measurables Emmitt Smith should not have lasted long in the NFL, he was small and slow, but the Cowboys saw something in him and he became one of the best ever.

    Great feet and vision, his cuts are phenomonal. On top of that he's already around 200 lbs....ladies and gents this is a grown man.
    No doubt that he's probably SEC bound, but I hope he comes up north to MSU and becomes a Spartan.

  • @jsawkin3

    He's a damn good back. The only thing I'd want him to change is that he needs to make his strides longer when he gets into the open field. It'll make him faster more than likely.

    I think it's because his speed, but his RB knowledge is pretty good, and he's got good vision. I'd say make him hit the weights harder when he practices so he can break some tackles to make up for his lack of speed

    from what I see, he has a shit load of potential, Notre Dame just needs to mold him into primetime. He is one of the most elusive I have seen look at 2:49 and 4:30, and he can find the open space easily. He has the uncanny ability to know where he needs to go to make the most yards possible 3:50. He already shows some trucking and shedding ability at 6:58, 00:27 and 1:15. When and if he gets in Form, hits the weights, build alot of muscle, he can be scary on the field.

  • @8MoneyIzmyMission8
    @8MoneyIzmyMission8 11 років тому

    LOL are you kidding me? If you are talking about the same one listed on Rivals he's 5'8(small as Tavon Austin and smaller than Tyrann Mathieu) 225lb(what you would expect out of a 6'1 power back), runs a 4.8(linebackers 6'2 and 245 running that are considered slow), and benches only 225(with those small arms and girth he should at least be benching 300).

    But you know, I wonder if he could become a power back, he's very well built, and has good size for a high school back. By his 2nd or 3rd year, he might be 225 lbs or so.

    There's a difference between making good cuts, and cutting way too much... This kids cuts way too much. There were plenty of plays were he could've beat the back with his speed alone but cut back and got tackled. Gotta agree he would be entertaining to watch in the back field with Mike Davis. Come be a Gamecock and follow the greats like Lattimore

    yeah but they will not try to change him into some Trent clone. Usually if you are an RB the only things you improve on is your blocking, catching, and technique whether it be power runner, speed rusher, or the total package.
