I took our tree down before the new year. I’m not sure why, I’ve always liked starting the year with all our Christmas stuff packed away.
As for videos, I love videos were you upcycle thrifted purchases and any recipe videos!

Yes I do have mine still up as of today. I have been decluttering the house and used all my tubs and bins for other storage items. So I have to make a dollar store run for new bins. Today I am going to clean my master bath while my gbaby plays in the garden tub. I cleaned the kitchen good, walls, cabinets, and organized befor Christmas 🎄 😎. Now on to the rest of the house 🏠. I would love to have my cleaning done befor spring so I can spend my time in the yard garden and flower beds! 🌼
I’m not ready to take down my Christmas decor, either. My entire household was sick all of November, and it has taken me an extremely long time to get my strength even to half what it was. It took me all of December to slowly get all the decor out, so I’m so not ready to put it all back up, yet! 😂

In all seriousness, he’s been super supportive of my lack of strength. He and the kids have been great! Once they all felt better, they’ve done as much as I’ve needed.
I am so glad to seeing someone still with a christmas tree. In my country (Slovakia) nobody (even ateists) dont put down christmas decorations before 6.1. (When we celebrate 3 kings coming to Jesus) and many families have christmas tree till the end of january, some till other special event 2.2. I love your nativity painting sooooo much. I started looking for something similar. Happy new year to you and your family.
My Christmas tree stays up all year. I decorated my tree for Valentine's, St Patrick's day, Easter, 4th of July , sunflowers and bees , Thanksgiving.. it's been really fun for my family.
Whoa! Hannah, I have NEVER seen your home look like this! It is quite understandable with the new baby, Christmas, and New Years. I am at the point of having taken the inside and outside Christian decorations down, but I’m tackling getting them stored away. I still have two trees up, want them down, and am also tackling that. I hope to get that all done today, but my motivation level is zero.

We don’t take any of our Christmas decor down until late January. Christmas ends on Feb 2. So thankfully we all still have a couple more weeks. 😉

My Christmas decor came down immediately! I love the holidays but I get very overwhelmed with everything so I clean up quick! I definitely understand the need to purge and organize at the beginning of the year!

I always love declutter and organize videos
My daughters birthday is January 2nd so I always take everything Christmas down and put it all away before her special day so that I can decorate for her and make her day feel like it’s all about her.

It was good to see you whirl thru your home and get it all set to rights. Looks great! I love a clean home. You looked so cute, also, on the days that you cleaned. I loved your sweater and skirt, and the looked new so maybe you got them for Christmas. I have most of the decorations down e Celt the big tree in my bedroom. It is so pretty and I love Laing in bed looking at the lights. We are being blessed this winter w/ snow, and have about 15” and it is snowing as we speak. We have been in such a drought, that I am going to enjoy the inconvenience of the snow! I’m leaving my tree up thru January so it will still go along w/ the snow. Happy you still are enjoying Christmas. I leave our decorations up for Three Kings (Jan 6) then start taking it down. It's always sad, but makes the house feel brighter and more open.
For the new year, I'm looking forward to decluttering/organization, set up of the nursery and seeing improvements on the back porch.

I think a very big round rug with some muted color (like your kitchen rug) in your dining room would look great! and I would like to see you actually shopping at the grocery store and maybe your two boys once in awhile?? you could tell us a little about them, what they like in their schoolwork, what do they think of their baby brother, favorite toys? We moved to another part of the state and into our new to us house between Christmas and New Year. Watching your videos have been an inspiration and also a calming influence on me in this chaotic time.

I took my tree down last Sunday. We had a very sad Christmas. My 98 year old mother passed away 3 days before Christmas and we buried her last Thursday. I had put the tree up for her because she always wanted a tree at Christmastime. Now I have the task of cleaning out her house and dividing her belongings between my brothers and I. It's an extremely daunting task.

I usually don't take my Christmas decorations down till it's Valentines day. Then I like to start doing my spring cleaning ( go through everything & clean except my windows of course). As always love watching your videos.

I put all my Christmas decorations away on the 3rd. I was off from work and it was freezing cold that day, so I stayed in and cleaned everything up. My whole house needs a deep clean, so I'm hopeful we can get that done this weekend. I'm so glad to have everything up and have a fresh start.

We always leave the Christmas tree and most of the decorations up until after Epiphany at least, and usually until the middle or end of January, we also enjoy it so much. 🌲 🌼🌼🌼

Our Christmas decor is down. We had some really cold weather come thru Texas so since we needed to take the outside decorations down we took them all down. Your house looks great and so do you. One would never know you just had a baby!

We had caught Covid the week of Christmas. Still dragging and not feeling well when I get up to get stuff done. I have slowly started to pull down our Christmas decor but it feels so weird because we slept most of Christmas. It took 3 days to get the kids to unwrap all their gifts because someone was always asleep sick.
I get why you don't want to take down yet. It's cozy and your new baby. And it feels safe and company. Great video

I can’t believe that baby boy is almost 5 weeks old, they grow way to fast. All of my Christmas decor and tree are already down, I put ours up the day after Thanksgiving so I was over it. Your right my house did feel so bare without all the Christmas decor.

I just ordered that retractable clothes line this morning, but it’s freezing cold so I won’t be able to hang it and use it until spring, but I’m excited to try it out! I need to find some heavy duty clothespins….I keep finding junky ones.
We’re keeping out Christmas decorations up a while longer too, my mother in law was really sick during Christmas so it was pretty chaotic and we didn’t get to enjoy our decor very much. I love the soft twinkling lights. :)
