Jack Whitefoot Ballistas cause the ranged threat and then bombs up close will thin out troops/heroes for me. Also crossbows with pikes get -1 to the duel roll and I would avoid that if I can. At higher than 750 then I would look to add a Troll with Drum cause then you could swiftly move your army wherever you wish.
Looks like a hell of a fun and themey list me and my brother will have to play this week!
Love the lists - im surprised not to see more crossbows or crossbows with pike? What are your thoughts on adding a troll for some high fight value?

Why don't you use trolls?
Bombs and Ballistas are far more effective than trolls.
