I enjoy every minutes of this video. Mrs Edwards is an ''out of the box'' artist and her embroidery work is stunning and beautiful !
So glad you enjoyed it 😊
What a happy person!! Claire's work is so different and unique. I like how she says not to worry about the outcome, just play, and not to plan it in a sketch book, but just to let it happen. Definitely going to follow her advice! Thank you.
Thank you Vanessa. Claire was an absolute joy to interview. She's definitely inspired me to spend more time in my sewing room - to experiment and play! Thank you again x
Vanessa Isom thank you so much. Absolutely, don’t worry about the outcome, have fun, play with mixing different materials and see what happens. Enjoy and happy stitching x

Rosemary Pilgrim thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😊
I love your coral pieces, Claire. One of the best moments of my life was popping my head into the water, on the Great Barrier Reef, in Queensland and seeing the coral ! Wow ! Glorious ! Your pieces look exactly like the coral.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories Penny. To see more work from Claire, please visit her website thenomadicmaker.com - Katie :)
Thanks so much Penny and for sharing your memories - to dive on the Great Barrier Reef is at the top of my bucket list, it would be an absolute dream come true 💕💕
Hi Penny - I’ve just uploaded a new film on UA-cam all about my diving and showing where I got my inspiration from 😊
I am so impressed by Claire and her exciting work. I will ensure the guild I belong to get a link to this video. Kia kaha Claire and all the best for your future plans.
Please do Erica! You can find out more about her work on her website marianjazmik.co.uk. Happy Stitching - Katie x
Thank you so much Erica and thank you for sharing this with your Guild. I am also happy to give talks to guilds across the country so please bare me in mind in the future once the pandemic is over and we can all meet face to face again.
**AMAZING!** I loved the artist's advice to leave room to let yourself "play" when you are working. I am INSPIRED! Thankyou so much for sharing this!
Thank you Lorali. You are so welcome! More inspiration can be found on Claire's website nomadicmaker.bigcartel.com Happy stitching - Katie xx
Lorali thank you so much. I think we’re often so focussed on the end product that it can be easy to lose the joy of doing the piece or it not turning out the way that you wanted it to. One of the things I try is not to have any expectations of the end piece, keep playing and see where it all takes you. Have fun, happy stitching. Claire x
Wonderful art! Her attitude towards her chosen field is excellent, unlike some of your previous “artists” whose major concentration seemed to be shoving their politics down all of our throats. This artist really loves what she does, & the finished work reflects that. 🦋🐞
darkallegiance666 thank you so much. I absolutely love what I do, it’s never a chore to be sat in the studio stitching away 😊
Thank you for watching 😊
