I just can't believe that Wilson is washed up. He's experienced, battle tested, positive, and proven. Give him some protection, run, defense, Steelers football. He has, and can win. Justin is the future, which could be sooner rather than later. Hang some W's on the rack, and the talk will end.
Russ isn’t even close to washed up. Roger Goodell is pressing buttons behind the scenes to push him out, and the media is being paid to be his executioner.

Da Browns were fully aware that it could and did result in his suspension prior to taking his first GameDay snap? He is 8-4 in Cleveland. That's like $29 million dollars a win. It remains the highest guaranteed deal ever in NFL history. He's currently working through another injury and very likely not to play opening day in Brownsville. It almost makes me feel sorry for those devoted fans in Cleveland, almost.

Even if Tomlin was leaning toward Russ the whole time, and he was, Fields wasn’t good enough to make Tomlin think hard about it. Tomlin can be as diplomatic as he likes, but he has known the whole time that Fields isn’t special enough to start over Russ, and few QBs would be.
If Russ is good at all this year he should have another 3 or 4 years left in the tank. Fields has not been good. He has no confidence and no anticipation. He's not a starter at this point in his career.
These clowns caping for Fields are all liars, and I have lost a tremendous amount of respect for them. This just reeks of an agenda to push Russ out of the league, and it’s not the media’s creation. Someone very wealthy and powerful is pushing this garbage.

Sports media tends to love a good comeback story. They’re rooting for 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers to have a comeback this year, and they’re rooting for 36-year-old Kirk Cousins to have a comeback, but they’re not rooting for Russ. They’re rooting for Russ to fail. They want him overtaken by a completely inferior QB and run out of the league. Am I the only one who finds that strange? Russ couldn’t have done anything on a mass scale to deserve the disrespect he continues to receive.
Standard in the NFL, when a scrambling qb can't transition to a full time pocket passer, they have a quick decline. We are watching it with Russ. Has nothing to do with some media conspiracy you are trying to hang on to.

Uh, no. The problem is that if the Steelers are not *at least* 6-3 when that gauntlet begins they are toast. They will be lucky to go 4-4 in those final 8 games. If they come out of the gate slow, like Tomlin teams often do, and go 2-4 to start the year ... they are done. They can't make that up down the stretch given the schedule.
Had wilson played in a mvp level sometime in his career he would of atleast got one mvp vote in one of his season but not even in his superbowl years did he once receive a vote for mvp

I’m not saying he will win MVP, but I’d bet on him playing MVP-level football and being CBPOY before I would bet on him being benched midseason for JF when the schedule is backloaded and JF couldn’t outperform Russ. It makes no sense!
And Russ has thrown for 40 TDs this night 16 games. That’s the equivalent of 43 in a 17-game schedule, and he did it with fewer attempts when compared to his peers. So, he can throw for 50. He has the arm to do it. The question is, would the Steelers win that way?
I don’t think Russ will be MVP or throw for 50 TDs, but he could be CBPOY and throw for 40-43. That’s not out of range at all.

Russ is not a pocket passer. That was proven with Hackett. He used his legs to make off script plays. That was his bread and butter. He does not have his legs anymore.
