Good catches. You play it pretty fast and loose without a trap safety.......LOL I was at the camp Aug 5-7 and I can say I have never seen so many yellow jackets. Everywhere we went, there were thousands of them.
I put up 20 marten/fisher boxes 2 weeks ago and got stung at 2 different places. The last nest I stepped on had hundreds of yellow jackets. I'm surprised I only got stung once there
Do you have any bear trouble taking your conibear into Bush? I used 16 gauge wire and the bear pulls it straight out like a guitar string Lol now I use 10 foot cable 3 32nd beaver sitting at the bottom of the pond and it works!
I use 10 feet of cable with a swivel on the trap end and a lock on the other end to tie off the trap. My goal is to have the beaver dive back into the water and stay submerged. Helps avoid predators getting to them.
Nice catch. Looks like the upper dam area 👍👍
1:54 being afraid of hornets i felt that

At that spot there where two ground nest, I nearly step on both of them.

I never thought of that, I'll switch the trap end to swivel. I notice some of cable is twisted. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy watching your videos
