Little bit of a long winded one for you here sorry. I never claimed to be a youtube presenter (pmsl). I've been having the time of my life riding this 160A as I like to call it (bit more catchy that Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC Actionteam 750 27.5!!!). As always I love to ride stuff as hard as I can and I've made a few tweaks and got it to ride better than how they are supplied. Hope you enjoy, dont be afraid to drop a comment and please subscribe so we casn bring you more content! cheers Sam
really well explained video guys ! the footage of the riding is insane, its all the stuff i used to ride or had the time to ride back in the day ! with an e bike i wont have to worry about the time it takes me to get up there to enjoy these decends again ! looks a beast and looks really grippy and pinned down too :) thanks for that guys !
Good idea taking the Kiox away, from the stem anyway. My front wheel went into a deep rut, threw me forward. Broken rib and can still see the imprint of the Kiox a year later😂.
Good video ! Im 6’1 and been concerned about going full 27.5 as my other eebs have been 29” or mullet , looked at the 140 but im not sure on the geo and prefer the bigger travel, much difference and in tye choppy ruff stuff and rolling speed in the real world compared to the 140 ?
I used to be 6ft1 🤣 more like 6ft now. It concerned me going to full 27 but after sending it for a good 300mile now it's ace. You don't really need big wheels on a 24kg ebike they plow plenty good. It just brings back a bit of maneuverability. You feel a bit less centrifugal force in your hands after jumping off a mullet or 29 (ie its a little easier to move the bars at speed) but that's it.
@@cyclefactoryuk lol good stuff thanks Sam, so how does it compare with the AT 140 ? would you you choose it over the 29’er now ? is there any noticeable difference in rolling speed on flatter trails ?
@@motoboggle7525 don't have experience of riding the 140 sorry. I'd go 160 it's a beast. On flatter trails all ebikes suck after restricter stops assistance 🤣. Its steep enough round here for that not to be an issue.
Hi Lovely bike I bought two of these 4 months ago and having problem with rattle in both of them....and is not battery.....😒 Any tips from where can be? Your bike is soo quiet 🤩 Thx 👍🏻
Hi, thanks for the video, ive just bought one, i know i should have come to you, especially with the videos, but i have a local shop that i ave used for years and think it's important to keep it local, i know you will agree. However, i do love the mudguards, which model are they and are they dark grey as apposed to black, because the match the bike well from what i can see in the video. Kind regards, Simon
Hi there and thanks, for sure a good local shop for and ebike is the best way. The front guard is a Rapid Racer Products jobby they are a slight off black really bit work really well.
The Kona rides great, if you're looking to get a new bike though for me the Bosch electronics would be main reason. Better power, better range better backup. The spec on the Remote wasn't great, wheels etc are not the best.

Good vid, nice to see one being ridden instead of looking shiny in a showroom.
well that last footage cleared the question I had "if I take a wrong turn and end up on a difficult hiking trail will I be okay" lol good video thanks

exactly the reason why i want a ebike..i can climb i did almost 5000ft of ascent on legs but at the top how much energy and fun do i have ? not much
Nice one Sam. Enjoyed that. 👍🏻
Cheers Steve!

Hi, I'm deciding to buy the 27.5 actionteam 169, I'm 1.78 and I'm right between size M and L, what size do you recommend?
