I went to Biloxi, LA for about a week, with a group from my church for a Samaritan's Purse work trip after hurricane Katrina. Praying your trip planted seeds and bears fruit for HIS Kingdom.
Pastor, My family has been to SW Kenya (via Nairobi) and have seen the spiritual need of Kenya. Thank you for your documentation of your mission trip this year.
Our family has been on short-term trips to Costa Rica twice with Levanta Ministries to help with domestic violence in Central America. I believe that EVERY follower of Christ in the United States needs to go outside of the US to see the real needs of the peoples of the world.

I'm from harbor Beach Michigan. I went to West Virginia 10 years ago and loved teaching kids and painted in the rain there. We were painting then it started to rain and we had to finish the job so we did in the rain. So you are from Detroit Michigan

Todd needed to go there, to see first-hand and know for certain and build relationships, and personally ask them what their needs are. My husband knows the pastor and many believers there now, and knows they are not just looking for money, but true gospel partnership. Our church is helping them as well. We are called to minister to our local community, surrounding communities and to the ends of the earth. We thank you to each person on UA-cam that would even watch this video and stop to pray for this sweet church! 🙏🏻🥹🤍
Please no offense, but do they understand rightly dividing the word of truth? Missionary work is good and needed everywhere because there seems to be a great lack of understanding including the fact that Jesus Christ is our high priest .. the veil was rent
Mt 27:50, 51, thus we no longer need an earthly go-between (priest) but confess directly to Christ. We confess our need and thank him and invite him in and we study and grow in grace, as we continue to confess our daily sins, trusting him always, no matter what comes.
The Great Commission was given to the eleven and has not yet occurred, because Israel dropped the ball by finally having rejected The Christ with the stoning of Stephen Acts 7, and won't occur until after The Body of Christ (true believers Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day) is caught up to meet the Lord in the air, ending the age of grace and resuming the final seven years of the 70 weeks of years (Daniel) and the Kingdom. Daniel 2:44-45
We must study, asking the Holy Spirit to open our understanding, giving thanks to our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior🙏🙏🙏 Man shall not live by bread alone .. we need spiritual food EVERY DAY.
They do, they truly understand! That is why they are on fire to GO and fulfill Jesus’ great commission! We were blown away by their passion and drive despite their lack of resources. But God…..🙏🏻
Thank you but, again please no offense: rightly dividing the word of truth includes great attention to situation, who is speaking, to whom and when, why, where; doing so is most necessary for comprehension ..
The Great Commission Mt28:16-20 given to the eleven (Israel) will not occur until after the true church/Body of Christ is taken out of the way as in 1Thes 4:13-18 (trump of God, NOT same as one of the seven angelic trumpets of Rev). Jesus comes for his church (body of believers) in the air .. first the dead in Christ and then any living; not same as 2nd coming when his feet will stand on Mt Zion.
I am old and, although I had gifted Sunday School teacher at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church back in the 50s, I didn't learn about rightly dividing the word until much later, and doing so makes everything so much clearer and thus MUCH more interesting. The Acts, written by Luke, is helpful to understand the early church and missionary works of Paul and others, the acts of the Holy Spirit, later council at Jerusalem Acts 15.
Sadly, many people who attend church and have had access to Bible all their lives don't bother to read God's Word; without rightly dividing the word, it is easy to get confused and give up, and just go to church for the free lunch as did the multitudes during Jesus earthly ministry. I just hope to help about rightly dividing the word of truth IITim2:15 Study to show thyself approved of God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
