When the two bodies move with the same velocity then we have elastic collision, and when the two bodies move with different velocities then we have inelastic collision.
If you're converting from degree Celsius to kelvin, we normally add 273 to the temperature in degree Celsius to convert it to kelvin. It's a standard process.
The laws describe only the motion of a body as a whole and are valid only for motions relative to a reference frame. Usually, the reference frame is the Earth. The first law, also called the law of inertia, states that if a body is at rest or moving at constant speed in a straight line, it will continue to do so unless it is acted upon by a force. The second law states that the force F acting on a body is equal to the mass m of the body times its acceleration a, or F = ma. The third law, also called the action-reaction law, states that the actions of two bodies on each other are always equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. Kelvin scale is an absolute scale that is based on absolute zero. The zero on the Celsius scale is based on the properties of water. Also, the temperature in Celsius can be negative which makes it difficult to calculate. Whenever any calculation is done, the temperature is always converted from Celsius to kelvin.

Thanks very much for your help But question number 8 ,I don't understand I thought since it was converted to Ice at 0oc I thought the change in temperature would be 0-10 which is equivalent to -10oc but 10oc was used .can you please explain that to me Same thing in question 13 since the temperature was initially 80°c , I thought the change in temperature should be something different from 80°c .....I don't know though...just guessing Please explain 🥺
Thank you for writing in! Question 8: Kindly note that the temperature difference usually carry a positive value. Question 13: The temperature difference is simply implied as 80 from the question.

Thanks for writing in! At resonance; we simply reckon that the value of inductor = value of capacitor, which is 40v as supplied in the question. Hope it helps!
We are sorry for the inconvenience you may be facing. Kindly use UPPER case and LOWER case letters, along side numbers and some characters to register your username and it would work.
Thanks for the explanation But for the number 13 question, the temperature of the water was initially 80 degrees celsius, water vaporizes at 100 degrees celsius meaning that the temperature was raised by 20 degrees celsius before it could be vaporized Yet you used 80 degrees celsius as your change in temperature meanwhile it is stated as the initial temperature in the question. Please why is that?
May i remind you that JAMB past questions have different types, the types you may have been seeing could differ. We employ you to study as much as you can, so as to be prepared for any element of surprise in your exams.
If the option given is the same thing with the answer gotten, knowing fully well that even with approximation none of the options would match, please go for the option with the same answer, but rarely does it happen, you would still need to approximate to get your answer.

Why is it compulsory to convert some questions to kelvin skill
