I disagree, that card draws cards like crazy. On top of it being in Jhoira which is a storm deck you need to stop the card advantage early to really stop her.
@@Joeled_Lotus I think it was a good attempt considering your hand.. you needed a few turns to cast naus. I think the mistake was more that your hand was too slow for that naus than the counter. If you had fast mana + counter + naus.. stopping draws into counters + ad naus would of been nice. I guess you could of saved the counter and phased out the Jhoria during a storm. But of course it's easy to judge when we see the whole game! If only we could see the recordings before the game :D Still great seeing you play!
@@Coulrophobia29 I still think Wishclaw searching into Naus with 40 life is a little more of a threat. Wishclaw telegraphs a lot unless tapped the same turn it's cast.
Hoping to see that Jhoira pop off next time. Force on the Ring was rough though. 1st seat disadvantage baiting out early counter magic lol. The list seems low on artifacts to chain though - yet I understand it may be to reduce dependency on the commander. Would like to see Pontus pilot it again. Good Game.
Why do you imprint Llanowar Elves and not Elvish Spirit Guide into Chrome Mox? Also, once you have a green Mox, why don't you cast Tinder Wall (or Llanowar Elves)? What's the advantage of passing green-open over casting more ramp? It's not like you could fake a lot of interaction.
really digging the mardu play lately, cedh makes it very struggling but we can pull it off. currently building dihada all legendary, mirror box and cadric wide aggro strat, pretty fun but can be slow, albeit slowing down the game as well with interaction coming from all places, graveyards, other players yards etc lol, could be very group huggy hahah
He’s gonna have to start letting you all draw a extra card each turn the way he’s been playing 😂🔥and you won with one of my favorite combos I run in prosper that duelcaster twin flame is so good!!
Doesn’t matter here but Pontus wouldn’t have been able to pay the 1 since the flicker resolves after Sentinel due to APNAP placement onto the stack. Cool decks, love seeing Esper and Mardu
@@nkyxyz great minds think a like mate 😉 glad to hear ya like mine 😀 Im currently considering put in Dramatic reversal as a ritual after ad nauseam or Necropotence+borne upon a wind 🙂 will probably update my list when I find what to put out 😀
Force on ring was aggressive, but if your out to pact is someone wheels me into a free spell is your out, that's a kingmaking pact. Consider the engagement farmed.
@@guillermovelasco103 He says “Is a Food Chain list”. There is’nt tribal slivers in cEDH, Food Chain is an enchantment that goes virtually infinite with 3 cards that can be casted from exile (squee, etern scourge and misthollow griffin) by getting one extra mana each time you exile one of them with Food Chain. Now that you have virtually infinite creature mana from this combo, now you need a commander that does something at the cast, etb or ltb. First Sliver is considered the best Food Chain commander as it gets you all colors to play the best cards in the format and once you got your combo you just cascade your whole library finding some combo (eg Thoracle + Demonic Consultation) to win the game. In this video when he had wishclaw in the battlefield he was wondering to search for ad naus (which he did) or go and find consultation or tainted pact because each of them are one card combos in this deck… if he would go for demonic consultation fe, he would name Food Chain and in the way hopefully he would exile one of the said creatures, setting up all the combo to win.
“I want to farm engagement” pact lolllllllll
That force on ring was aggressive
It's the new toy everyone is playing with so may be it seemed right but it was too aggressive for sure with what Mons had on his board state.
Yeah I made it way to early. I admit it 😉

I do like the background music. nicely edited games as usual. Thanks Mons.
That means a lot. I have had lot of comments about how bad the music is. I am happy to finally read that it is good.

Yeah, this can't have been the correct play.
holy crud Pontus kept his first 7

I will play it again next time and hope to see it do more than this time 😉

Yeah I admit it was 😉
I think Pontus just enjoys stopping Mons. That means you are good friends!
This is wery true!
Love how in cedh nobody summons their commander 😂
Yeah. That don't happen that much!
Disappointed with First Sliver being used for just colors. 😕 Good game though, guys.
It's for Food Chain though not just colors
He introduced it as Five Color Goodness, not a Sliver deck. I mean it's fine, he can play how he needs to, to win
