You are such a fabulous cook Chetna. I am planning on making a chicken curry from your book the feasts one today after work. Have already marinated the chicken.................... roll on 4:20 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow lovely i make these on regular basis. As I dont eat red meat i just buy mini chicken breast fillets and mince in chopper with all these ingredients.Last week i shaped in to meat balls and cooked like normal chicken curry served with rice.
Looks great. We make these regularly. Instead of a tsp of cumin powder, which I personally feel might be overpowering for 1/2 kg chicken, you could try 1/2 tsp of ground cumin and 1/2 tsp ground dried coriander. We don’t usually skip coriander powder in our kebab.
These look so delicious! I love your chicken seekh kebabs recipe from Healthy Indian and would really like to make a vegetarian version - nothing seems to hold its shape as well as minced chicken though - they're so tasty 😂
😊 always look forward to your videos! You're a brave chili chopper because every time I'm chopping the Chili's I forget and end up touching my 👀. Can't wait to try this one all the colors plate beautifully together so pretty this looks fabulous!
For Indian cooking - is it best to use birds eye chillies or rocket chillies? And is there a difference between red and green or is just aesthetics? Thank you 😊
Looks delicious! The one thing that confuses me: I thought kababs were formed around a "stick" and cooked, providing a 'handle' to eat them, (or, as we do, push them off into a waiting bun). I must say, simply frying them looks much easier! 🫂

The onion slicer looks real good. Which brand is it?
That bowl you put the yoghurt into is just gorgeous! These look delicious.
Thanks so much! 😊

I have been craving chicken kabobs. Thank you!!
Hope you enjoy
This is making me so hungry!!!
yum yum! thx!
Delicious! Wish I had minced chicken. These would great for game day snacks!🙏❤️
You can just mince the chicken in a blender
best way is to freeze it in cubes and then put in a blender and you have minced chicken meat
Perhaps you can get minced turkey?

Alternative to amchor powder is aradhana(pomegranate) powder.
❤😋🎉
😍
No egg required??
If you work the chicken thoroughly, the proteins in the chicken bind it together and you don't need any egg or other binders.
no, just make sure to mash well
U know what, I was going to message u sometime ago and say "how about a kebab recipe", but I recall u said u didn't eat red meat....
Yeah I dont eat red meat
Hi Chetna it look delicious. I used to follow you on twitter but have moved over to Bluesky like a lot of people, are you planning to join? I hope so
+1 🦋
I am on Threads, instagram and tiktok and facebook so not planning to join anymore.
@@FoodwithChetna Thanks for the reply. I will still follow you on here
Nice recipe but I would call it tikki rather than Kabab. Kabab is chicken with bones and deep fried.
No it absolutely isn't lol

These are "Indian kebabs" and they're supposed to be like this. We've a stick version as well and we call them seekh kebabs.
Yes those are called seekh kebab because they are on a stick (seekh)
