I am from Eagle Pass and have been inside that house. It was a beautiful house inside and out. The city or state should have bought it and turned it into a museum or maintained it as historical site.

I'm here because my husband and I drove through EP at midnight last Sunday. We were traveling and were using GPS... An eerie, mean angry voice came out of gps and yelled at us, I wanted to cry because of the terrifying sound of that voice and it felt like it was in back sweet of our truck leaning in between us. My husband asked me if we should turn somewhere and it answered, "Iiiiiiiiii told YOU TO STAY ON 289 SOOOOOUTH!!!!!" In the most terrifying voice we've ever heard and we'll never forget.

I grew up down the street from house, my grandma said two sisters lived there and one of them dead when a snake came out of water house and bite her. Their kids didn’t want nothing to do with the house. Not sure who owns it now.

My grandfather told my mom that he stayed in a house with lots of chimneys in EP. He said that some nights a Chinese man would come up from a trap door and would talking in Chinese. He would go through the wall and point to a tree outside. I wonder if this is the house. He was born in piedras negras and played for a minor league baseball team the Sultans. His name was Andres De la Cerda.
I have heard rumors and story's like this one. A kid who visited the place with his friends when there to explore it during the night, when the boys friends came a little girl came said it was the boys sister who joined him but when she left and the boy came he said "why didn't you come in" and "who where you talking to when the kids said it was the boys sister the boy said they had no sister shortly after they heard a girls life and a door shutting close
My grandma fela"R.I.P, used to take care of the old man.of that house, I used to go with her on the weekend,& the lil girl had down syndrome, she was like 12.this was in the early 80's

As someone who lives in ep (I'm from Miami) I've been attached to this house. I am also very connected to the spirit realm and practice wiccan/pagan traditions I'd would love to have a reading in this house.
EP is rich in history, some of it bad, wars, battles, and just tragic events that happened in more modern times. There is Alot if spiritual activity in some places, you just have to tap in. Las Lomas have activity, and 1162 rio grande was like a vortex, except what was once there has been razed to the ground. But there were always rumors of a cursed buried treasure. I don't know what kind of business they have there or if they would give you permission to explore all the way to the bk of that property. Some things should not be disturbed tho.

Went to the museum there the man said someone else was suppose to fly that day but got sick and the captain took over and as soon as he took off he crash and died. The airport is named after him
I'm from Eagle Pass, moved away in the early 80s. I used to roller skate on that porch in the late 70s. My babysitter lived in the apartment above the garage. Used to visit often in the early 90s, then didn't go bk for 20yrs when my gma died. It's unrecognizable now, lots of history lost, which EP is rich in. Apparently people running it now don't give a crap.

I live in this city edit: the reason you see power is because the house is actually still owned by someone but she won’t fix it and sadly leaves it a a sitting duck.
You should check out the old hospital by Fort Duncan. I had an incredible experience there a few years ago. Literally had a whole convo with someone who disappeared. And I wasn’t alone so there were 3 other people there to corroborate my experience.
i finally saw and walked around it last week. That spare building has been trashed. . It needs an awful lot of work. A realtor knew the owner wh was in jail. Realtor estimated it was worth $200 k in part because of the land. We got word back that they would sell for $800,000 maybe he was in jail for hallucinogenic drugs lol. i guess it will just rot- what a shame.
Hope you can also check out the abandoned Eagle Pass radar base that’s located about ten miles north of town. That place has a lot of paranormal activity as well.

@@unknown.ventures I suggest you go visit the radar base, the library downtown because that was the county jail back in the day and my father said they would execute ppl there which is the library basement. Also the old hospital next to the plasma center I’ve heard a couple of ppl say weird stuff happen. And the old mortuary which is also downtown
I have a friend that used to live there and we'd hang out regularly at his house and while together nothing ever felt creepy, but when I'd separate or be away from him I couldn't help but feel like I was always being watched or followed. I had a pretty terrifying experience there one time with my friends mom as well that caused us both to go outside the house and call the cops. Its definitely not one of those places you'd wanna explore inside alone.
