Hammered metal choker makes me think of a “hammered” metal (musician) choker..one who strangles. I love your videos. This gives me more wicked ideas to keep sane in this time of solitude. Thank you!
Matt!!!! I've never commented on one of your videos before, but hi from WA! I wish there was a place to share pictures with you, I want to show you the piece that you inspired me to try! Thank you so much for all of your videos, but this one in particular! 💕
I highly enjoyed this. I’ve never made an asymmetrical necklace or bracelet that i didn’t take apart. One of these days I’ll like one enough to commit to not.
I never cared for necklaces like that but I’m gonna try to make one without the mandrel and see if I like wearing it, if not I’m sure someone will. It’s very nice
Love your videos. Such a great inspiration! This is an awesome design, if i could show a picture of what I made of it I would! Mine turned out very different but beautiful. Thanks for sharing :)
Matt, this is insanely inventive. I believe only you could come up with such a unique design. Hat's off. (Or should it be hair?) Oh, can it be worn by someone with a head?
Do you think you could sand the tool marks out on aluminum? I have been wanting to make this necklace for a long time! Thanks for this tutorial. I just want mine to be a little smoother, flat but smoother.
Not if they only wear it once in a while. If they wore it every day and adjusted it or took it on or off 5x a day, then it might start to break after several months.
It's Bonsai Wire 4mm available on Amazon

You can try but with color plated copper, it will rub the outer layer of color off
Wow this piece is beautiful. What is that choker/necklace hammer device you’re using called ?
Someone gave it to me. I think it's a necklace mandrel
love it !
That is so cool!
Do you ever have
any problems with the
wire breaking with the
people opening and
closing the choker to
put it on?
Not if they only wear it once in a while.
If they wore it every day and adjusted it or took it on or off 5x a day, then it might start to break after several months.
You have some great projects, where do you get your wire?
Mostly parawire.com or amazon
So cool
Those are gorgeous, what gauge was this?
I think it's 8 gauge aluminum
Ty soo much.
What size was wire? I missed it some where.
He said he though it w is 6 gauge it was given to him.
Pretty
