Though D4 has been my fave band ever for 20 years now (apart from Black Flag as a youth), how many bands actually give GOOD comp tracks? Very fucking few is the answer
Came here to listen again to this song I've liked for so long - it's my favourite of theirs. I keep listening to a Banner Pilot song "Spanish Reds" and being reminded of this song. Anyone else hear the resemblance?
@inurfacez10 Hah. Yeah you're right! I discovered Dillinger Four when I listened to the album "SHORT MUSIC FOR SHORT PEOPLE" by Fat Wreck Chords. Their song: Farts are Jazz to Assholes. LOL
i love this band now for soo long. fuck me. im getting fucking old. i remember when i was drawing shit about d4 on my schooltable and now i am close to the age of 30
Not so jumpy now, downtown, no talk of concerns or fear. We're just handing over all our tax money, then bitch about nothing but the price of cable and beer.
@@DA-rz2dl Hey man, real constructive feedback : ) You will be pleased to know that since I made my ill-informed comment nine moths ago I have since purchased from my local Minneapolis punk rock co-op, "Extreme Noise", Dillinger Four's albums Midwestern Songs of the Americas, This Shit is Genius, Versus God (my personal favorite), Situation Comedy, and Civil War. They are great! I was also introduced to Big Black and TAD as I clumsily expressed my musical interests to the remarkably well versed musicians that work for free at the co-op. I am glad that I listened to people such as yourself. Thanks again for your thoughtful and instructive advice.
One of the MOST underrated punk bands of the era, these guys are lyrical geniuses, and their riffs, holy shit they speak for themselves.
Dillinger 4 is one of my favorite bands and I'm still surprised how such a great song came from them.
If it's one of your favorite bands why are you surprised?
Love this song. When i bought the Rock Against Bush volume 2, i was immediately hooked to this one.
This song blew my 13-year-old brain. It also more or less got me into punk.
This song does something to my guts when I listen to it. It's like my stomach being sliced in half with a sword.
I like it.
It's the Taco Bell of songs
What do you know about music?

Every 15 year old in America should listen to D4 and read along with the lyrics.
I still listen to these guys all. the. time.

Totally.
Also sounds a bit like the singer from Dropkick Murphys

Oh shit, D4 getting political.
@inurfacez10 What do you mean "used to". YOU DON'T LIKE THIS SONG ANYMORE!?!?!?! O.O
The band sounds great...the singer does not.
Great thing about D4 is that there are two other singers, so you may like other tracks better.
