Since the pandemic, golf has allowed my father, brother and I to bond in a new, fun and challenging way. We are totally hooked on the sport of golf for life. Your channel has helped all of us improve, strategize and enjoy the sport/culture of golf even more. I'd love nothing more than to surprise my dad with this set. I know it would be a dream come true for him. Thanks Rick, love the channel!
I used to watch loads of different golf channels, now I watch just one. If you want no nonsense advice and a variety of golf subjects, with some great light hearted content. This is the one. Thanks again Rick.
Thanks Rick! I bought this set but I spent a bit more and got the one with the 5H and 5W. I just thought the difference in distance between 6 iron and 4H was too much. Overall, very happy with it. I think it's perfect for the casual golfer that gets out 1-3 times every couple weeks. I find the irons a bit chunky especially the 6-8 irons but that could just be my swing. Couldn't be happier with the rest of the bag
Rather than for myself, I'd love these clubs for my old man. He's been working with clubs that he's been given by friends added to a budget set he bought in the early 2000's. He's getting out and playing a lot now and his game could take a real step with these clubs. Appreciate your content, I've been a fan for a long time and you've earned your success!
I bought this set recently as I am getting back in to golf after many years. I’ve played four rounds now with these and based on how they feel and performed I believe you were spot on with your analysis. Hit well they perform well. I also believe that I may have been a bit too anxious and overpaid. Time will tell. Being Taylor Made I’m hoping for a long run of good quality….and they look so good! I really enjoy your video and have learned much from listening, and watching.
Been going to the driving range for years now, more for fun rather than coz i was actually good at it. But taking it very serious lately. Watching your videos has helped me a lot. Currently have a set of second hand golf clubs bought online.
Relatively new golfer here Rick, just recieved my first handicapp this year, playing about 2 years. Playing with an old set of my uncles that are much too small for me, those Taylormades would make a real difference to my game. Cheers Rick!
I've only just started playing golf this year, so I'm a high handicappers and have a mix of second hand clubs at the minute, would absolutely love to give this set a go as I can't afford to buy any new clubs at the moment. Massive fan of the you tube channel and podcast!🤞😁⛳
nobody needs "new" clubs....second hand is the way to go, new stuff is way overpriced these days....just buy it off some old fart, who thinks he needs 3 drivers per year
played my first round on a real course last weekend, shot one bogey but rest we don't speak of, enjoyed it though. thanks for getting me into golf rick
I love when you do these! It makes business folk who want to get back into the game realize you can get a nice set of clubs, look the part, and play a good game.
When starting out, purchasing the right clubs is a total minefield. I'm just finishing my 1st year of golf, starting out at the ripe age of 42(bit late really). I will probably consider a fitting in year 2/3. Would love to see a video with guidance on getting a fitting, what to expect, what the fitting professional will analyse and a professionals experience of being fitted. Thanks
I was gifted this set 2 years ago. I was a very casual once in a while golfer with no real skill who used an old hand me down set of clubs. I still haven’t golfed much the last 2 years but have made a real effort to step up my game the last month. These clubs are good for me. I got graphite iron shafts and my set came with a 4h and 5h and a 3w plus 5w.
Hey Rick, love the videos man! I started playing golf last year and have been using my friends clubs. Your videos on how to hit driver and irons have helped a lot. I have been dreaming of owning a bag of taylormade clubs. They look amazing!
Crazy the Callaway’s are still significant less if when they sold them. Proof everything doesn’t need to be $3k+. The cobra set looks good too. Glad they are baking decent bag sets finally.
The thing with the Callaway is that it is a re-issue/re-brand of the excellent X2Hot irons and woods (and a really great Odyssey putter). You can actually get the Callaway and the excellent set of Kirkland wedges for still half the price of the Taylormade and have pretty much all you need (and a bag of your choice).
@@KM-qr7qz Hi - If you look at the X2Hot irons from the past, except for the orange colour, everything else looks pretty much exactly identical to the Edge (I will assume they kept the same lofts). So, in theory, an X2Hot 5 iron should fit in. Hope that helps...
I was impressed with the looks of the bag. The driver distance and the sand wedge effectiveness. I wasn’t sure of the irons because you can’t get a good feel till you use. I like Taylor Made and have used years ago. I also would love to have some new clubs. I think I have watched every one of your shows and love them. I am old but I play five days a week in Michigan USA.
Rick, I’ve just begun playing golf this summer and I’m using an old set of clubs I found in the back of a bus from my grandfathers junkyard and as the seasons coming to an end these Taylormade clubs would greatly benefit my game for next year!
Can tell you i went from my 16yr old junior clubs to these this season, and its drastically improved my game, can tell you you wont really be disappointed, the driver can be damaged really easily, i got under one when i was trying to hammer it and the crown dented, which actually deflected the face, which basically made it unuseable
I would really love these clubs. Started playing golf during this pandemic with a mix and matched semi set from my mates extra clubs. Would love a set of my own to continue growing and getting better. Love the channel. Cheers
That looks like a great set to get someone interested the game of golf. Great to see the overall quality of standard off the shelf set of clubs improve so much and become affordable.
I recently started working a golf course, I've never played golf. One thing I noticed that the course is the camaraderie and how nice every golfer I've met is, and that got me intrigued on the sport. And then I found your channels and immediately subscribed. Because I like how you buy full sets and test them, and not just expensive sets either. This is helping me substantially on picking my first full set on a low budget.
Friend of mine has this set. It’s a sharp looking set. He said he definitely recommends. These would be a great gift for my dad, as he’s the one who introduced me to golf.
Hi Rick, instead of the clubs being for me I would love to give the clubs to my twin brother. We are both 17 and have just recently pick up golf in the past few months. We have been watching your videos to help us get started and we are currently taking golf lessons. My brother got a set of golf clubs from my uncle but the grips are terrible and it would be 100+ dollars to get every club regriped. Getting the clubs for my brother would be amazing and our birthday is the 15th of October. Thanks for the great content and much love from America!
This was an interesting video. i recently purchased these clubs after the pro at my shop watched me hit a few balls. I am a beginner who has only played a few rounds and mainly hit balls at the range. Like you Rick, I mentioned a fitted set, but the pro stated by swing would likely change over the next couple of years and suggested waiting until my handicap was down to about 15 before considering fitted clubs. Your thoughts if you get to read this would be welcome. PS. With the exception of the putter and the hybrid, i love these clubs and they do seem to be easier to hit. Or that could be down to the lessons lol. Keep up the good work.
I’m addicted to your videos Rick and appreciate all the giveaways! This set is just what I have been looking for. A lot of my golf team has Taylormade clubs but not exactly this set. This would be awesome set to play with my golf team!
For some people this set is probably ideal. The same way a cheap slazenger set is ideal for others. Personally if I’m going to spend 1000 I’m probably going to pick and choose a lot more. But an honest review by an honest man.
Sorry for his loss, but I am Ina similar situation. My Uncle passed away and I was given his clubs and I've been playing for about 2 months now atleast once a week. I have only played about 10 rounds in my life before that. I'm 35
thanks for the video i baught some secondhand wilson di9 irons and broke the 8 and 9 irons shaft this weekend and discovered they where rusted under the grips, your videos really help alot it made me get a RBZ Black driver and im loving it so thank you.
I'm new to golf and just bought this set on the weekend, after debating what to get. Ultimately I chose this because it's the best bang for your buck, since I'm new I won't notice much differences in performance between this and other sets, and this comes with everything, no need to go out and find an Iron set, a driver, woods and putter (realistically it would cost more to put everything together than to just buy a set) I haven't had the chance to bring them out yet since winter is just ending (I live in Canada) but I overall I like the look and what I get in this package. Worth noting that the one I got also came with a rain cover as well. My only gripe that I see so far is that the bag is very top heavy so carrying it around on your shoulder causes it to often tip topside, which could result in your clubs falling out, as well as it being a trolley bag instead of a stand bag.
Would love to win this set for my friend, I currently play on my own at the weekends, my friend has always expressed an interest in learning golf so he can come on rounds with me, this would be a great set to start him off with! Love the content, favourite video was probably your round on St.Andrews was so cool to see.
I would love to win this set, I currently have a second hand set and it doesn’t have a driver. Winning this golfset would really benefit my game! Love from the Netherlands!
I've now watched all of Rick's Package Set reviews and really appreciate the level of information passed on. Having spent plenty of time on the range and wanting to now move to course golf I was all set to go and buy the Callaway Edges but they just aren't in stock. They are however being sold new on auction sites for around £600 which brings it closer to the Cobra XL set in terms of cost. Is this still good value for money for the EDGE or would i be better getting the Cobra now? I had eliminated the TaylorMade RBZ down to cost but a retailer now has them at £800 instead of £1K, does that now bring them more into contention? In todays market what would people go for if they've been borrowing at a range and now want their own set to get used to for course golf later in the year? 1. Callaway Edge £600 (Eby) 2. Cobra XL £650 (AG) 3. TaylorMade Elite £799 (ClubHouse) 4. Spend the £799 at GolfBidder for better but 2nd hand
Would love this set for my dog Rick, he’s finally getting back into golf after a few years off the course and I’m hoping with these he won’t end up in the ruff so much… all jokes aside love the content and roll on 3 mill :)
I was given this set as a university graduation gift! I love these clubs, I don't wish to enter this giveaway, but I hope whoever wins these enjoys them :-)
I’m a rugby player who has never played golf ever. My brother in law introduced me to golf and ever since I’ve subscribed and watched your channel my game has increased stupidly. Thank you Rick!! Your a humble beast!!
I’ve been using hand me down irons my whole life and would love to be able to win these bad boys. golf is too expensive to get new irons. Keep up the good work Rick. Love the videos mate.
I’ve been back playing for about six months and this channel has helped me out so much. Slowly improving my game and a new set of clubs would help improve even more. Thanks for all the info 😊
This set of clubs would be perfect for my cousin he just started playing and is not wanting to spend a lot of money on clubs and this would be amazing 😊
As a golfer since four years I've truly enjoyed your videos and you've taught me a lot! As for the give-away... got my entire golfset stolen just one month ago so this would set me up perfectly looking into the next season! So I'm definately hoping lady Fortune picks me!
That’s what happened to me! I went to pick a ping lefty fairway for a friend, and walked out with this package set for 1200us$, but inclusive of a 5w and 5h, which made it a better deal.
Would love to win this set for my father in law. He's a keen golfer who is just coming back from a knee replacement. This would give him some good motivation to get back on the course when he's ready. Thanks for the opportunity Rick!
Hi Rick, I bought this set with being fairly new to golf (around 10 weeks into my journey) and they are aimed at high handicappers which I am. I also won a set of 3 TaylorMade MG3 wedges the other day, can’t wait to try them out around the greens! Keep the videos coming Rick, you’re a star!
Would love this set for my dad,he hasn’t played in 20 years until recently and he’s got his old rusty clubs, would be nice to see his passion for the game back with a new set of clubs
I’ve been using my dads hand me down clubs for years and can’t really afford a new set, I would absolutely love these! Thanks for the giveaways Rick we all appreciate it.
I would love to win these for a Christmas gift for my brother, he’s never had a half decent set and he’s starting to really get into golf again. Would love to surprise him with a nice set

I was given the lefty SW from this set on the course one day by someone who picked it up on a separate course the the previous week. I can honestly say it's my favorite club in my bag and outperforms my other sand wedge by at least a dozen yards!
I know I am way late, but love these videos, so thought I had a few questions... First, can you do a video on TopFlight XL set, purchased from Dicks Sporting Goods, or Golf Galaxy if you have it over the pond. And my second question is, what is the first piece you should upgrade as you are improving in your game? Been playing steadily for a few months and wanna maybe upgrade something in my set. Anyways, thanks for the awesome videos, and have a great rest of your day!
I am a beginner, and have the RBZ irons, but a mismatch of drivers/PW/SW and putter.. On watching your videos', i have used your tips to try and improve my game, and have helped quite a bit. I'm not fantastic, but i love the game now! thanks for posting all these videos, informative and helpful
I'm new to golf and I'm looking to get myself a set of club but I don't know where to start. I find these videos to be super helpful on what to look for when getting a set of clubs
I just purchased these and I think they were also marketed directly to people like me. You want to look the part sure but you want a quality set for years to come without the urge to upgrade but also don't want the expense of a full blown custom set. That was my reasoning. I decided I didn't want a 500 dollar set because I knew I'd want new clubs within a year if I did.
Hi Rick, I do work in the City and I did purchase this set! But not in finance, or into corporate days out!!!! Great set of clubs which perfectly align to my game, my treat to myself after years of using my old set of clubs. They work perfectly for me and have improved my game although not currently comfortable with the putter (give it time) make full use of all the other clubs, which have given me more distance at 64. Spent a lot of time looking at various other options but this set is just perfect for me. Great review, honest and practical keep up the excellent videos. Best wishes from a City of London Livery Beadle (you’ll need Google for that).
Started golf a few weeks ago and I'm completely hooked, watched the bmw pga event last week. I enjoyed it but personally prefer these videos as a beginner I've watched both seasons of break 75 and pretty much everything ricks put out the last year in a couple of weeks😅 Currently going round with my grandads old Slazenger set that he never actually used but had for years before he passed. Having played with my friends and using a few of their clubs I've realised they're not quite up to the billing the more Im progressing. Thanks for the great content and aiding my addictive personality
Excellent review - I’ve been a Taylormade fan since I took up golf four years ago. I am retired and can’t afford anew set of clubs - I’ve seen the advertisement for this set and my mouth waters every time I see it but it’s just out of reach. Your review intensifies my desire for these clubs - so I’ve got my fingers crossed here. I watch all your instruction videos and it has helped me progress in my golf - I certainly understand why you have so many subscribers - keep up the good work.
As someone in sales, your description of a corporate golf day was spot on. The only part of the description that was missing was blaming the bad golf game on the beers you had in the clubhouse before your tee time. Congrats on 2,000,000 subscribers!

Love the content, favourite video was probably your round on St.Andrews was so cool to see.
awesome rick! I would love to have this set because i really need one right now. I just get handicap 18! Love your videos!
18 thats awesome well done
thats awesome you deserve this
I would love to win this set, I currently have a second hand set and it doesn’t have a driver. Winning this golfset would really benefit my game! Love from the Netherlands!
Isn't this a second hand set ? 😉
@@matthewhill4636 I guess you’re right😂
I really like hearing your feedback and honesty. Nice to hear someone the just says it as it is.
1. Callaway Edge £600 (Eby)
2. Cobra XL £650 (AG)
3. TaylorMade Elite £799 (ClubHouse)
4. Spend the £799 at GolfBidder for better but 2nd hand
Would love this set for my dog Rick, he’s finally getting back into golf after a few years off the course and I’m hoping with these he won’t end up in the ruff so much… all jokes aside love the content and roll on 3 mill :)
SQUIRREL!!!!!
Same here. I can't afford decent clubs. I have a mismatched bag of clubs. These would be absolutely awesome. But, I know I'll never win them.
I'm just trying to start playing, so I would love to get it
Cheap set of used clubs in good condition from a thrift shop or garage sale is the best way to circumvent the expensive new fancy brand's 🤘
Great summary. I would sway to the Cobra or Callaway options for a package deal
As a golfer since four years I've truly enjoyed your videos and you've taught me a lot! As for the give-away... got my entire golfset stolen just one month ago so this would set me up perfectly looking into the next season! So I'm definately hoping lady Fortune picks me!
Rick went into the shop for some socks and they sold him a full Taylormade set!
His reason - “ AND I CAN TOTALLY MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT!!” 😂
Hi, yet another great video, well done Rick.
Awesome stuff
But Rick, did they get you for the golf insurance?!
Love to win this set
Hi Rick, I bought this set with being fairly new to golf (around 10 weeks into my journey) and they are aimed at high handicappers which I am. I also won a set of 3 TaylorMade MG3 wedges the other day, can’t wait to try them out around the greens! Keep the videos coming Rick, you’re a star!
Would love this set for my dad,he hasn’t played in 20 years until recently and he’s got his old rusty clubs, would be nice to see his passion for the game back with a new set of clubs
Awesome Alfie! I am an old man myself. A gift like that for your dad will make him smile. Good luck!
I’ve been using my dads hand me down clubs for years and can’t really afford a new set, I would absolutely love these! Thanks for the giveaways Rick we all appreciate it.
Big up all the sob stories being wheeled out.
"I would love this set to replace my 1940s baffy and niblick I have to use" 😂😂
I started golf a couple months ago and my dad just got these and I can say I’ve never hit the ball so straight and consistent with any other clubs
Would love this set for my son, he's just started playing and currently sharing my clubs.
I’m poor though
I would love to win these for a Christmas gift for my brother, he’s never had a half decent set and he’s starting to really get into golf again. Would love to surprise him with a nice set

Recently, I invested in both stocks and crypto but currently I believe crypto is doing more better.
Trading crypto has been a lucrative way of making money.
Quickly becoming a fan of this channel. Honest, full reviews.
Always nice to see a variety of honest reviewed top, middle, and bottom clubs.
I was given the lefty SW from this set on the course one day by someone who picked it up on a separate course the the previous week. I can honestly say it's my favorite club in my bag and outperforms my other sand wedge by at least a dozen yards!
Rick your videos are the best. Info & comedic content I find. Cheers.
Loving the break 75 and the help tips and advice you give
Love your channel. I am 51 years old and just getting started in the game. Thank you for doing all the reviews on balls and clubs I am learning alot
Is this true? Would Rick Sheilds really ask me to Whatsapp him??
Thank you for this. I've been looking for a set lately to get back into golf after over 20 years. 🌞
I would absolutely love a new set of clubs to practice all your lessons with. Great job. Thank you Rick for all of your help!!!! Awesome video.
Have restarted golf after a few years off. Love your videos informative and fun
Awesome, I'm just getting started in golf and bought these on sale at golf town ❤
I truly respect the knowledge you drop on all of your videos.
I'm a beginner golfer and started to look for tips on youtube and I stumbled onto your videos. It's been a great help and very entertaining!
I appreciate your honesty
Thanks for your expertise
I'm a complete novice and only play with a few guys at work, but I find your videos really awesome to watch. Here's to many more :)
Great watching u try these clubs you had a good time as well as fairly review the set. Enjoyed your honesty as well as your humor thanks
Started golf a few weeks ago and I'm completely hooked, watched the bmw pga event last week.
I enjoyed it but personally prefer these videos as a beginner I've watched both seasons of break 75 and pretty much everything ricks put out the last year in a couple of weeks😅
Currently going round with my grandads old Slazenger set that he never actually used but had for years before he passed. Having played with my friends and using a few of their clubs I've realised they're not quite up to the billing the more Im progressing.
Thanks for the great content and aiding my addictive personality
I’m a very new to golf spending quality time with my two sons thank you for the reviews and value added advise!
I will definitely say those look very clean a little pop instead of formal but not too much to where its overwhelmingly bad. very clean.
Thanks for all the tips Rick. Using the pregame routine every time
Just started golf enjoying watching your channel.
Would you recommend the Stix set over these? Seems you get much more with the Stix and they look cleaner in that black color.
Thanks for the easy to understand tips, really enjoy watching all of your videos!!
Thanks for these types of videos. I was looking at these today. Very helpful.
Just looking at getting into Golf, don’t own any equipment as yet but love watching your content for ideas
Love when you do these packaged sets review ! I've always put my sets together with 2nd hand clubs , that I've either read about or seen reviews on you're posts or others !
Thanks for all the knowledge that I wouldn't be able to afford or have access to !
