Walker Trails is a development in Santee, new builds next to the San Diego River Park, built on the old Walker Dairy farm, and a 4bd/2.5 bath, 2 car garage, 2100ft2 for $970,000.
I love San diego, unfortunately it's too expensive, not just home prices but also taxes, so i prefer to live in Tijuana and for the same money in a very high end neighborhood. Hopefully things improve in the future.
We put up with a lot of shiz, that’s for sure! But I love helping families - and I make sure not to put myself in dangerous situations - my kids need me 😉
Trust me! It’s so tempting to see what homes cost in places like TX! But that would mean giving up weekends at the beach or mountains, hiking, snowboarding, boating, the lifestyle is keeping us here! When every weekend feels like a vacation 🤷🏻♀️

@@fortgrove3166 wow! First off - Thank you for your service 🙏. You’ve lived in some amazing places - are you in Hawaii now? That is expensive AND vacation vibes 24/7
@@LIVINGSANDIEGOCAI was living on base on Hickam from 2018 to 2022 by the beach. Well, it’s surrounded by water lol. No, I retired to Texas. Lol. I bought a six bedroom home in Colorado 12 years ago for 260k and that is my rental and may move back there lol.
Pretty sure that statement was accurate 30+ years ago - Santee is totally multicultural community - anyone can spend a few hours running errands in Santee and see the cultural diversity themselves
Real estate is all about location - put a $50k home on the beach and it’s not worth $50k. Put it in a nice suburb in one if the largest (and nicest) cities in the US it’s going to be valued much differently than in a remote area When you are 20 minutes away from one of the best beach communities in the country, it’s going to reflect in the price 🤷🏻♀️

Yes! Santee has several great new or newer developments - I’d like to do a video on Walker Trails soon!

i admire today's real estate agents they risk their lives showing homes and exposing themselves to creeps and criminals.

Your video is very good.
Hi! Appreciate the feedback! Which was your top pick?
From Santee to Texas
I’m not surprised! So many Californians moving to Texes by the thousands! It’s crazy! But I get it too 🇺🇸
Daughter left there and moved to a less "woke" locale in the last year.
much happier not living out of Cali
That is become a very common theme - glad to hear she’s much happier! What city/state did she head to?
Lol go to Texas and get the same for 600000.

WOW 800,000 for a 50,000 dollar house I'm sorry California 😢😢😢

lol in Santee? who will pay $7000 at month to live in Santee
Good question! When 1200 sq homes are $1m+, people will move to Santee for a 3000 sq ft new build in a nice HOA community and pay $7000
@@LIVINGSANDIEGOCA WOW crazy prices. +tax and the others enchiladas( hoa fee and insurance). have fun and good luck.
What a joke $800,000. California politicians are clowns.🤡
$800k 10 years ago got you a nice house - now it’s a starter home price out in the burbs - that needs work! 😆
@LIVINGSANDIEGOCA yeah that's ridiculous. I love san diego but just go to vist.
