This is the first guy I have ever viewed that actually has content that works! Peace!
Same, and I’ve done two of his courses, both amazing.
Pat is amazing!!! And his All-Access Pass in Smart Passive Income is top of the world!
Pat, that off the cuff stuff is brilliant. I appreciate all you content on SPI but I love that you give your best thing, YOU away for free.
This is awesome Pat! Love this! Thank you for the amazing advice!!
Awesome video with great advice pal! Thank you for all you do to help us out as fellow content creators! Card Party 2 hype!!!!
How can I find time to build a business? I have a full time job, a part time job, 3 kids, and not much margin.
I feel that’s the biggest struggle.
Taking the leap next weekend and recording my first 3 episodes...I REALLY appreciate your content. It's been critical to my game planning. 🙌
Yo! I just recorded my first two and it was a blast!
Hey, Pat. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
This video was great. I got your book in the mail last week. Can’t wait to read it. 🎉🎉🎉
Storyteling is the highest value skill any influencer or creator can learn. As AI shoots out information in seconds, we need to become masters of stories.
You really nailed it with advice on breaking into new markets or niches! Understanding the community first, experimenting with unique content, and fostering a sense of belonging are crucial steps. Definitely a video worth watching for anyone looking to expand their presence in a different space!
Thanks so much for the great advice! I watched you on Think Media and immediately looked you up. I am about to launch my own channel and I’m having the hardest time thinking of a name for it. That’s the only thing keeping me from launching. I’m known for being funny and liking weird things and trying them out. My mom used to say that I “marched to the beat of my own drum.” The videos I’ve made are about creative no build camper van set ups that have a theme. I had no idea that other women my age are out there in the world living in their car or van and traveling all over the place BY CHOICE! There are many women who are doing the same, but they had no choice. Then there are the women who do this part time for fun. I stumbled upon this whole thing by accident and I can’t believe there is such a huge community of middle aged and senior women traveling all by themselves.
Love your content man!
Awesome advice here, Pat. I think what you guys are doing with the pokemon channel is great (my son is always entertained!), and am actually planning on incorporating a little of the style storytelling you guys do in something I'm shooting tomorrow. I'm stressing out a little about how I'm going to get all the footage I need, but I'll figure it out!
What a great video! Thank you. ❤
Please do more of these and turn your podcast into a filmed one like diary of a ceo or impact theory. It would be really interesting to watch.
Great advice Pat! My podcast "Podtastic Audio" is another podcast about podcasting. But what makes mine different... is that I'm honest with my own challenges and mistakes. I go on the same journey as the indie podcasters out there. With the dedication to delivering value first to the audience.
I asked you a while back if you would like to be a guest on the show. I don't always have guests so I personally select the best people in the space that would deliver the best value to audience of beginner podcasters out there. Thanks - Chris
Hey Pat! When do you start evaluating your thumbnail and title performance? How long do I wait before I start making changes? Do you ever really stop trying to optimize?
Appreciate this so true
Great portable mic...what are you using?
Take heed !
Would you suggest sticking to one niche? I have a huge interest in video games and collectibles,
Hell yeah
How do you create a story about something mundane like a vacuum cleaner?
Document the journey of trying to sell your first 100 vacuums online
I can't wait to meet you at card party and have you sign my superfans book.
I'm thinking about starting a UA-cam channel to funnel people into a newsletter, but I'm really a left-brained analytic sort of person so I have a lot of fear being a pied piper of sorts.
Hey Pat , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
What kind of stores are we talking about? Behind-the-scenes. Because how do stories about I broke? I don’t know how to market my business and I can’t afford for anybody to help me help me. Tell people what I’m doing, what I’m about
How do you talk about art on a podcast?
You can tell stories about the inspiration behind the art, how ideas came to be, some of the challenges and struggles along the way, talk with other artists and chat about trends or business or just get to know the artist in general.
I'm just surprised that Pat is still creating videos on this channel when he could just focus completely on the 1M channel.
Can the storytelling aspect also work for a gaming channel? I feel that I have improved on my titles and thumbnails recently but I would like to think storytelling might be a bit tricky when it comes to gaming content.
As you play you can talk about the history of the game being played, history of the developers company or just a good ole fashioned story of your day/week to update all your fans on life events.
@@beysshowcase What if the game happens to be a shooter? I find it hard to make a storytelling video, at best that I can think of is maybe making a skit of some sort
@@producerkidd this one is easy lol I am a big fan of the second amendment so for shooting games I would focus on the weapons. Maybe let your viewers know what brand/model the current weapon class you are working on is designed after. If the game utilized real life brands then expand on those companies and current offerings for the competitive/defensive/or recreational markets. Such as ACOG scopes in early Call of Duty Games. Lots of history to unfold in the history of Trijicon which I believe manufactures those ACOG scopes I mentioned.
@@beysshowcase Yeah I would agree that talking about specifics would do good. It would be very informative and enjoyable for those the like that kind of information. However I'm thinking more in the sense of a story. For instance with COD how would you create a story? If I'm playing online multiplayer how can a story be made. Best I can think of is saving someone from the team as a mission type of video. Other than that I think it would be hard to create a video with story for a game like that. I know you can create videos on new updates with new items but to make a story that has a beginning, middle and end I think would be difficult
@@producerkidd I understand what you are talking about and do see your point. It may be easier to do what I mentioned during livestreams of your gameplay since you can interact with the chat, they can ask questions and the conversation should flow naturally like when one is just hanging out with their friends. As a long form pre recorded content video though the only way I can see a story being made from that gameplay is to make it like a sports game maybe? Show it is you as the “MVP” on your team against all of the tough opponents your enemy team has to throw at you. As you get certain achievements or “streaks” you can create little catch phrases and so on to add to the story and give your audience certain “key words or phrases” they tend to associate with your channel and enjoy. That or if you have a certain “goal” in mind for that round/match you can make it a sort of story that is focused primarily on your progress in achieving said goal, just make sure to throw in lots of jokes since comedy seems to make these things all come together quite nicely from the audience perspective.
