Leslie allows gerry to be put through a lot more than what Paula went through and considers it just a hilarious thing that happens, and ignores and discounts his skills. But she goes on at length about how Paula was amazing and suffered through all sorts of things while failing to realize that she's become the very thing that her idol suffered through.
