Hi Sean, do you have any good recipes that include puff ball mushrooms?? I just foraged one for the first time, and sauted it, and it was delicious. Maybe you have better ideas for how to use these amazing fungi? Thank you for writing your cookbook, I'm addicted. Love your smoked turkey soup, sunflower cookies, maple griddled squash, Cider braised turkey thighs and cranberry sauce...omg and sooo many more, I started to list our favorites but there are so many... cedar braised beans, maple dressing I could drink right out of the cup... Staples now!!! My digestion improved immediately once i started eating like this and i feel so much healthier!🎉😊
Absolutely agree! And there is only more to come! If you can, take a look at "Indigenous Food Sovereignty In the United States: Restoring Cultural Knowledge, Protecting Environments, and Regaining Health" by various writers (Devon A. Mihesuah et al.) and the University of Oklahoma Press. Its a very inspirational book as far as Ive read! It only makes me want to support these communities as much as I can! Being a person who doesnt really have a traditional culture, it is very important to me to help other cultures survive.
He very clearly states at the beginning of the video why he's using these foods, for people in need who are using food available to them in his local area.
