Sakaki was already a god in DMC 4. Donguri even holds him in high regard. Sakaki plays DMC like a fighting game. Utilizing hit boxes, positioning, juggling, something he picked up from Taka's combo videos.

I never see anyone as comfortable comboing like you. not quite sure how to describe it but I know it when I see it, using those odd residual hitboxes of attacks that move independent of Dante himself. It's probably why you have perhaps the best Lucifer use I've ever seen. You truly have a unique style about yourself and I love seeing how creative you are with it

I saw this video so many times dat I can't even remember but, every time I see that part of the video I was like "y did he use round trip der? Dat was 4 no reason, it didn't even hit the demon." And then I thought maybe he missed the round trip to hit the demon but, still added it to the video cause the vombo was cool.
Absolutely adore the creativity and amount of movement man. Also adore the use of sword clash parrying as well. It’s rather under-utilised at the moment.

He was doing an air/ground trick, then switching back to swordmaster and used its moves before he finishes teleportinng, so that he is in the new position while the summoned swords are starting up.
@@Airsickword In terms of pre-planned combo, definitely Sakaki. Donguri is about consistency in freestyle. There are more aggressive players than Donguri, definitely.

@IIISixStringIII Although his Dante is default, Sakaki always put gunshot on R2 for Nero. His setup seems to be mostly the same in DMC5, although he put Devil Breaker on R1 and DT on DPAD instead. Square became Breakaway.

ranged summoned swords is in his gunslinger form.
He was doing an air/ground trick, then switching back to swordmaster and used its moves before he finishes teleportinng, so that he is in the new position while the summoned swords are starting up.
That's what motivation looks like.
